If he can't at least prove he went to the ER today shortly after Pam said so to the court, he's pretty fucked.

As I read this I was picturing all garbage 'seizures' I've seen in television and movie dramas, where actors are making very exaggerated thrashing movements. While a very few people do behave with such overt shaking, if you've witnessed as many seizures as I have you know that most times the seizure looks more like someone being tasered than someone thrashing; more tonic than clonic. Every time I see an actor thrashing in 'seizure' I sigh and suffer the momentary loss of immersion, but I'm honestly hoping Tarl thrashes hard to sell his grand mal seizures in front of professionals.

One of the scariest things in my early career was having a conversation with a man who was new to his epilepsy diagnosis so couldn't recognize when one was coming, talking to someone as it hits is a bit freaky. It's this mix of speaking in tongues and gibberish and like a broken robot. He woke up with no memory of the event. I decided not to tell him what happened.

Also having a stroke doesn't just make court problems go away and the fact that they only delayed it for 20 days shows that they mean business. Most of the time the courts really don't seem to give a shit, at least with the nonsense that I've watched here over the years. They're usually more than happy, down right excited even, to delay a case and get it out of their hair for the day.

Rarely do I actually believe someone is completely fucked, but I genuinely think Styx is completely fucked this time.

Yes it does make her complicit, or it would. When I was in and out of thread while the hearing was underway I saw someone mention Tarl fleeing into the trees and for a moment I wondered and hoped it was real and if his parents were helping him. I imagined a low speed chase where Tarl's mother is pulled over and surrounded and her fugitive son is apprehended tucked safely up her vagina.

On my last page flip I noticed the paging "shifted" by like 4 or 5 posts, I think Sam deleted a bunch of recent posts under "Nunya Business". If this is the case, can a mod/admin restore those deleted posts and take away Nunya's edit/delete privileges? (It would also be great if someone could check the IP's and confirm that Nunya is a Laylithe sock, since we're pretty sure it is.)

They would need to obtain a search warrant that specifically lays out the scope of what they are searching for in the blood test and perform a separate blood draw or draws.

Sounds like a complex partial seizure. I actually saw my dad drive a scooter to a restaurant, take out fish fry, toodle home and eat it while having one, once. His words were coming out oddly and his behavior was inappropriate. I made him take his meds and called the wagon when it segue into tonic/clonic. He went into status not long after that and died a few months later.

The brain is bathed in glutamate and other excitotoxins that do it no good. And yes, your labs may very well tell a tale after the seizure for a period of time.
