The funny thing is, Tarl himself recommended the "boating accident" ruse a half a dozen times to his audience to hide the existence of firearms possession. Apparently, he doesn't have the guts to use it himself, or his legal advisor told him to don't even try it.

I remember. In fact, I remember a lot of big talk from him over the years. Styx is the embodiment of a “blowhard”. He is literally an “ain’t shit nigger” and he won’t DO shit, either. He’s going to comply and obey just like the good little votes totally matter tax payer that he is. But shit does keep coming at him so I think a grand spiral is imminent.

He won't make sobriety.

To reach that goal he would have to:
1) Move out of his pot smoker parent's home, and stay away from enablers and other substance abusers.
2) Join a program like AA who all have a focus on getting and staying sober. Aaron Imholte does it.
3) Start regular work with a male psychiatrist with the goal of working on A) using behavioral tools to resist substance abuse, B) concurring his social anxiety and learning to regularly socialize in healthy ways with the people in town, C) Preferably find a expert in dealing with narcissism. Get a narcissism assessment. They can't quite cure someone of narcissism, but an expert can teach you how to manage your condition so that you are less destructive to the people around you. Word on the street is that you can only find experts in narcissism in large cities. Still, this is Tarl's only hope.

I wish Tarl well, and hope he does it. But honestly, I don't think he stands a chance.

All he is right now is a solid living rebuke of A) drug culture acceptance, B) occultism, C) libertarianism.

Psychiatry assessment tests tend to be designed to filter out dishonesty. The only way to game these tests is if you already know the exact test and the answers to the questions for the result you desire.

What would be the point of trying to game a narcissism assessment that would be done solely for his own benefit. Vanity? I am sure that is accounted for by a narcissism assessment test.
