PSA: If someone tells you they're suicidal and you know them personally or believe you should do something, don't do anything yourself. You can always call in a wellness check and they will send people to go check on the person. This is the best way to handle this situation because not only are the people arriving better equipped to handing this situation it also completely removes any BPD nightmare shit from doing anything.

By definition a Schooner needs at least two masts, so that sailboat from before is out. Fortunately I think I found the perfect alternative, and while its not in Vermont, Massachusetts isn't too far.

We are stretching the definition of "new" a bit, since this is a classic from 1968, but it would be new to you and for $18k its a steal.

If that's still too much you'll have to go a bit further to North Carolina, but if you want two masts you simply cannot beat this in terms of value for money. It's not as pretty as the first one, but it's only $11k.
