I won't be surprised if he just gets time served and a fine, but I see no reason to give him such a light sentence considering his behavior throughout this case. Aside from the victim impact statement, I'm sure another factor in his sentence will be whether or not they've seen any of his online behavior where he smugly and cheerfully claims he killed their prosecutor or laughing about his conviction as if it's a complete joke in a video called HAHAHA I'M A CONVICT! He genuinely does deserve some actual punishment. "I just meant to toss the phone on the bed and it accidentally hit her" is a load of gooseshit. Think about how you would toss a smartphone on to a bed. You'd lightly toss it underhand. Now think about how hard you'd have to pitch a smartphone at someone that it caused a bruise. Tarl is about as credible as Nick Rekieta when talking about his case.

A king size bed; im 124lb right now and 5'5". I was laying on the left, far side of the bed. What incriminated him was his own words upon arrest, "I tossed the phone AT her". AT ME? Not to me, not on the bed, he clearly and loudly said AT me. That proved intent, by his own mouth that he can't seem to keep shut. He messaged me around 2am the next day, I sent screenshots to the DA. I will once again say here: TARL LEAVE ME ALONE. TARL GO AWAY. TARL MOVE ON. TARL YOU DO NOT LOVE ME. ABUSE IS NOT LOVE. And now that he's been recently convicted, Styx is closer to being a real pirate than he's ever been. Well that answers one question. Styx's cheating predated his departure from the Netherlands. By quite some time too. That was pretty early in their marriage. I guess the active cheating was part of the information the black brit conveyed to Styx when she spoke to Elisabeth.

I guess the next question is if Styx was cheating with @Laylithe or other women.

Looks like Styx/"Billy Bones" could a face a minimum of thirty days or he could serve as little as six days if he's deferred to an intervention program. Here's the Louisiana statute for Domestic Abuse Battery:

C. On a first conviction, notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the offender shall be fined not less than three hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars and shall be imprisoned for not less than thirty days nor more than six months. At least forty-eight hours of the sentence imposed shall be served without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. Imposition or execution of the remainder of the sentence shall not be suspended unless either of the following occurs:

(1) The offender is placed on probation with a minimum condition that he serve four days in jail and complete a court-monitored domestic abuse intervention program, and the offender shall not own or possess a firearm throughout the entirety of the sentence.

(2) The offender is placed on probation with a minimum condition that he perform eight, eight-hour days of court-approved community service activities and complete a court-monitored domestic abuse intervention program, and the offender shall not own or possess a firearm throughout the entirety of the sentence.

Maybe it hinges on the judge's response to the Victim Impact statement.
