They came pretty close to WR on that unoptimized Megaman game. Could have made an otherwise boring run memorable. So much of this comes down to the games and they have a pretty good day 1 set up. Would like more modern non-indie games to get run, but so many of them have unskipable cut scenes or are un-sequence breakable.

I was hoping this would happen because if they can the troons and the event suddenly improves, it proves the troons were the problem and validates everyone who'd been saying so for the past several events.

Not that they'd ever acknowledge that. Claris was just part of the Sonic Mania race, speaking of, and is getting an interview with the others. Also the chat ever coming out of sub-only is a pipe dream I'm sure.

How are the games and runners they have lined up this year though? I know the last few events either left out popular runs or runners and any interest I had is pretty much dead.
 
AGDQ staff decided to play hardass for pretty much no reason and refuses to let a guy in because his girlfriend paid for his pass (as a surprise gift) and it's in her name. All attempts by the girlfriend to get them to transfer the pass have been rejected and they insist that she travels there in person.

Apparently, things have been resolved but of course only after this blew up on reddit and made GDQ look bad.

Saw a snip of some other forum claiming that tickets were being brought up by tranny chasers so they could be in a hotel with a bunch of desperate trannies but there's no proof and I have a hard time believing it. Someone give a shout out if you find Linkara in the background of any pics.
 
I used to watch these events so I could find new people to follow, now I don't even watch them anymore because of how insufferable the crew has become and I just glean names and faces of who to avoid like the plague through screenshots like the ones in the post above.
