From the kinds of posts I saw in the other SS13 thread, it seemed like 14 was being run by a bunch of trannyjannies. Looking at the Steam forums, don't think that's changed.

Lifeweb has opened applications if you were looking to get into the sekret club. Pretty bog standard questions to answer, no idea if this is just a meme to laugh at the apps or they are actualy letting people in. Haven't played SS13/LFWB in ages- anyone in the club know how it is these days?

tg coders have been doing their absolute best to turn the game from an overgrown atmospherics simulator/insanity simulator to a visual chatroom that you just sit and talk, it has been a slow decline since before I started playing in 2017. Stuff like removing tasers from the game, ripping everything they can from Gooncode (Goon sprites are utter shit), and just general retarded code merges from Oranges.

I don't really recommend getting into space station nowadays, all the cool funny stuff people talk and show off in videos like the Sseth and Mandalore one don't really happen unless you play on /vg/ which has a max pop of 20 during peak hours.

Been off and on trying to get byond going with wine, but I don't think that's gonna happen. I really like VGstation.
 
We need some kind of dogwhistle so we can identify each other on other servers. I've definitely seen some based people before that I may suspected to be Kiwi but I never had any way to tell outright if they were without asking, which would probably be a bad idea. It has to be subtle, I feel like SS13 admins are the kind of people that would ban all KF users if they could.

/tg/ had a Vtuber named Jelly play on their servers and they were getting hyped up for another tide. They ended up banning 20+ people and the servers are exactly as populated as they were the day before. The server is in a pretty sad state of affairs. Out of their five servers only two of them have a regular playerbase, even that is slowly going down, and doesn't hold a candle to other popular servers during peak times. There is also a large amount of copium on their forums as to where their population went. The previous cope was "It's exam week" which explained all the players being busy. Before that it was "They're playing Blackstone" and they would smugly say the players would come back after they get tired of their flavor of the month game. I really think the failure of starting a tide is going to put /tg/ on suicide watch. They fail to grasp that SS13 got big because Ssethtide and Oneytide, both of which were people that had a combined following in the millions, way more than a mid tier vtuber with a few thousand regular viewers.
