Well, most of their showcase was mediocre as fuck. Remakes/Remasters of the worst Uncharted game and its standalone xpac, a Korean game that looks okay, a KOTOR remake with no EA or Bioware involvement which is I suppose is OK, GoW gameplay (which I can go either way on considering I had problems with the last one), Guardians of the Galaxy game which is whatever, a Wolverine game that we saw nothing of, and Spider-Man 2 coming out in 2 years with Kraven the Hunter gunning for Venom who’ll either be the final boss or a 3rd playable character. I imagine the racing fans might have something to look forward to considering the haptic stuff in the ps5 pad is actually quite nice.

Everything has relatively sophisticated haptics now, so incorporating that into a racing game is more like a minimum requirement by now. Though I haven't been able to try the PS5's haptics for myself yet due to not even being able to play a PS5, due to not even having seen one in real life yet.

Angrboda is the last of the giants and is maybe possibly a Nephilim because we're going to Middle East/Egypt Next, according to the interview Ragnarok is the conclusion of the Norse arc. It makes sense why she would have darker skin.

She's also the bringer of grief and if they're sticking to traditional norse mythology, that's going to be pretty funny.

Even the stands on new TVs suck, they all have four tiny little feet on each side and you'll have to buy a new TV stand or nigger rig one if your old stand isn't wide. Old stands were a nice heavy thing right in the middle.

(also, it's annoying that "stand" refers to both the furniture, and the actual thing that holds your TV without a wall mount)
 
I had the stream on as background noise this afternoon and I can say once again that I'm happy I stopped giving a shit about western AAA gaming and (aside from Forza) a decade ago.
 
The weirdest thing in the showcase was the bootleg Windwaker game that's main theme was literally just royalty free kakariko village. Got the same vibes as those chinese bootlegs of mario galaxy that replaced mario with a dragon almost.
 
Every time I want to be excited for Insomniac's Spider-Man 2, I remember how some pretentious douche thought this looked so good that it should be officially implemented

Seriously, fuck Insomniac. I want to be excited for Spider-Man 2 because I loved the first game but every time I think about the fact that I'll have to look at this throughout the story it tempers my expectations quite a bit. My biggest fear is that physically de-aging him might lead to making him act more immature - He already didn't return home at the first word of trouble in the Miles game, something I 100% don't think a seasoned, mature Spider-Man would do. "Fuck responsibility, I'm only 12! Let's let my younger and inexperienced protege handle everything!" While I still loved the Miles game, I was only able to get through it because Peter was hardly in it. Hope they don't make Logan look like a preteen as well but I'm not holding my breath
 
I didn't even know there was a stream today until I saw some reaction videos pop up in my YouTube feed (not that I watch that autistic shit), and I gotta say the only thing that actually interested me was that Wolverine game only because we haven't had a Wolverine/X-men game in fucking forever, and all they showed us was a ten second CGI clip with no gameplay...
 
Have you guys seen the writer for the Kotor remake? Holy shit, /v/ is lit up like a Christmas tree over her and Anthony Burch is a writer for God of War.

I’m actually glad they’re gonna kill Kotor 1, the better game will be left unmolested while BioWare taints their legacy as they sink. Fitting almost.

Also can we get some Ralph edits on Thor?

You get to play as multiple spider people not just peter apparently.

Logan supposedly may take it's queues from the 80-90's x-men. There's some hints in the trailer that it's not CURRENT YEAR.

She's definitely not black, though the jewlery she's wearing is middle eastern decos.

Considering that the trailer has centaurs and other enemies from the original games, we're going to get more than few callbacks to the Greek games.
