The color purple is associated with corruption. The first time I saw it blatantly used to evoke that in the art of mainstream gaming was in Warcraft-- or maybe Starcraft depending on if they meant it that way or just ran out of contrasting colors for the creep. But I think at least back then it was used in context within those games; now adays I'm sure it's meta.

The brother who didn't exist until this game, turning Sully (Nate's mentor) into a random extra. Uncharted 4 was so bad. I never played the DLC even though I like Claudia Black and her character, I couldn't get past the fact that Druckmann tried to make Nadine a good character.

Purple is also associated with imperial greatness, something very not kosher in the age of judeo-banking, scares them a bit too much to even think about Hadrian.

I watched the first ep of the new Grimsburg season and it's a Last of Us parody. Which is very funny because Alan Tudyk does voices for the show and he quit Uncharted 4 after Cuckman drove off Amy Hennig and changed his character's story. I bet that felt real good after a decade.

Also they explode Pedro Pascal's head at the end and spoil that Joel dies in the intro sequence. It wasn't perfectly non-partisan, but for a 2026 writer's room I'll take it.

I think Tudyk was so pissed at what Druckmann did when he took over Uncharted 4 that he refuses to work for Neutered Dog again. I believe Sully's voice actor/mocap said the same thing.

Be funny if it turned out the Lost Legacy wasn't made to be a girlboss power fantasy because of Cuckmann but because no one from the good games wants to work with ND any more.
