And yeah, I keep hearing people say Sony was stupid letting Kojima go right before he "goes back to Metal Gear Solid" but that poster and nothing I've heard about this game made me think it was a return to Metal Gear Solid style or anything. If there is one thing that screams MGS it's casting pennywise the clown to be your Snake replacement.

Sony has the following big games to look forward to: Until Dawn 2 (which is the sequel of a not particularly well regarded game and will probably be woke as fuck), God of War Laufey (a spin-off with a living cube that has a "quirky" personality and "witty" dialogue), Horizon: Hunters Gathering (a spin-off that features a giga-elephant on a peg leg as a pc), Intergalactic: Heretic Prophet (whose protagonist is an ugly, lesbian girlboss) and Fairgame$ (a game that tries to justify stealing from the rich around the time everyone got sick of those types). Tell which of these games stands a better chance at being profitable than a game made by someone with a cult following.

There's not really gore in a traditional sense.

You're probably thinking like Fallout New Vegas or Doom 2016 where gibbets and limbs fly everywhere but Wolverine does not have any actual dismemberment physics or gibbing.

You hit enemies and there's a gigantic blood spray but that's it.

There's blood, but the dismemberment and actual wounds are tame as hell for what the game would suggest. Robot arms get cut off fairly frequently, but visible wounds are largely restricted to Wolverine.

Hell, Debra Wilson is run through (non fatally, alas) and other than going a bit more buggy eyed than usual, there's no real indication of such.

Insomniac really pulled a Mortal Kombat 11 to Mortal Kombat 1 here in making even the dudes look ugly now instead of just the chicks.

This reminds me of the sad fact that the other Don Lee Yakuza game Gang of Dragon died.

TL;DR - NetEase fucked it all up &, Yakuza fans made up that Nagoshi fucked it all up by asking for too much money.

I sincerely wish we get more games with Ma Dong-seok, he has the perfect energy of a Yakuza character IRL.
Also, for anyone wondering, the Japanese actress is the girl from Gozilla Minus One.

I'm convinced these Cinematic games and gacha live service are only made due to being popular with shareholders, not actual gamers.
