No, Dunkey, Sony is not mad that you bought their games, and they are not angry at the idea of discs. In fact, the next big True PS5 Exclusive, John Grey and the Ex-Men, will be printed on a disc. What would make them mad if you bought these games used, that's basically piracy.

We don't know what actual gta preorders are (though we can rest assured they're higher than they deserve to be), the 35 million and especially 50 million have no source other than random engagement farming indian and nigerian xitter accounts. For reference, gta5, which released to a larger installation base that bought more games on average per console in a better economy at a lower price sold ~11.2 million day 1, that's all preorders and day 1 retail sales. GTA5's entire first year was 33 million sales, so I'm more than doubtful of these sourceless claims.

It's going to blow your fucking mind when you check the "year" element of your closest digital calendar/clock and you realize it's not 2007 anymore and we have more than one electric light in our above-ground houses.
Most of us have easily half a dozen devices in our homes that can (physically, as in "in on-board flash storage") store more video than a shelf full of DVDs from 2007 now. The shittiest candybar phone still has at least 64GB of flash storage, half of which is usable by the user even on the most bloated OS (lookin' at you, Apple), and even that's room enough for tens of hours of video. The worst part is they almost all easily accommodate "sideloading" content without a storefront involved and will cheerfully play back whatever media you throw at them, and people are still generally too fucking retarded to figure out how to make it go.
We individually have more than enough hardware (and collectively enough content) right now to never need the content cartel again. They could turn off all the official "content spigots" today and stop selling new storage devices of all kinds tomorrow and we'd still have enough to keep ourselves entertained forever just with what's already available. Shame the population doesn't have the balls or good sense to make use of that.
Traditionally when you're trying to subtly allege insider trading you'd want to point to a beneficial trade that took place prior to a price-killing announcement, not a trade that happened after the impact of bad news was seen on the stock. Ah well. Young minds, fresh ideas, etc.
