Oh yeah, also, supporting VR is going to be a boondoggle. Take it from a Nintendo fan, "wasting" dev time on an add-on with limited user-uptake is no recipe for success. Not to mention the general issue of supporting two different "platforms" generally.Sony is in trouble with the PS5, if at all, only because the chip shortage and inflation means they are making less per unit sold when normally they would be making more per unit as time goes on. It's less of a problem for Microsoft because they have their supply chain better nailed down and cloud gaming is basically free because they have an existing cloud for business clients.
Japan isn't an equal market compared to the US anymore but per rata it still was, at least in your PS4 vs PS3 rates (PS4 sold 3 times as many units in a market that is three to four times larger.)
