But the fairies aren't furries though so they won't count as furry bait.

Compare:
Rayman fairies

Furry with a diaper in a onesie(probably from one of those japanese games, likely made by Falcom if they have the Pokemon license).

3-4 of them are wearing animal skins and you also have Ly from Rayman 2 who is probably right on the line with the whole wolf tail

The only people on PC who are gaming are graphics card manufacturers themselves.
I mean who do you want to cater towards, a person who buys 1 graphics card every 5-8 years or the person who buys 25 graphics cards every 6 months?

I mean I have GPUs, local markets have deals sometimes.
Same reason they released RDR2 on PC but not the first.

I have no clue why but it feels bad man
Spaghetti code is the short answer

Yeah but you're still paying way more for less than optimal parts because it's really the only things they have in stock. I personally would like to see the supply chain reworked so we're not reliant on a country that's being deemed contested territory. We really should be producing parts the world over instead of putting all the eggs into a single Taiwanese basket. But fixing shit would take years to make new factories elsewhere.

That sucks. Honestly would love to have RDR on PC, since I know some autist will spend 5 years remastering the game to be raytraced 4k 360 fps ultra bloom where you can see the hay in the horses shit.

Also because I tried playing it on my old ps3 and the stuttering frames made my head hurt lol

Not sure if I asked this: why release ONLY Uncharted 4 on PC when there's three other games in the series?
Persona 5 Strikers is on PC but not Persona 5. I'm not even sure what Atlus was thinking with that one. Same for the game not being on the Switch despite that system being on par with a PS3 or slightly more powerful. It's like not porting Final Fantasy 13-2 but porting Final Fantasy 13 Lightning Returns.

what's sucks even more is that with all the money they make from GTAO they could easily throw it to some studio to at least make it workable, then they could re-release it on current console gens too, it's not like there's a shitload of open world western games and the prequel to a highly successful one...
hurts to say it but the 360 port is better I think, even has some more graphic features (think they removed the grass or highly limited it on ps3)

I'm not even sure what Atlus was thinking with that one.
the issue is you assume they think.

Late but I'd bet good money it has to do with Cell Processor bullshit.

What, exactly, are optimal parts to you?

And also isn't all of this just as much of a problem with Sony? PS5 stock is getting better, but there is just as much of a hassle dealing with scalpers and low stock due to parts manufacturing being in China, no?

By this point in time it'd probably be better just to remake the game with 2's graphics, their work with the map is already halfway done, all they'd need to do is add Mexico.

Then how did they manage to port the first 3 games to PS4?

I'd assume that porting Cell Processor jank isn't that hard when you have a stable set of components in a single system to port to, but is probably a nightmare when you try to account for the myriad of component combinations for PC.

Unless Bluepoint just straight up re-did code and shit for the Nathan Drake collection. I really have no idea. My original idea for how and why Sony games get ported to PC was one you floated before, that's where they throw their trash. I'd assume that Uncharted 4 fell into a category of "no longer that profitable because every fanboy bought it/we're done with the series" category more than the "didn't sell much" category that Death Stranding and Days Gone fell into.

pcs these days are highly homogenized, everyone is running w10 with either a intel or amd cpu (makes no difference really), gpu is either nvidia or amd, and the latter already runs in the xbox and playstation. all that differs is performance, but most pc games have graphic options and resolution selection for a reason.
