lel I have Best of PSN Vol. 1 too. It goes for $60 now, apparently. It's cool to have a collection of PSN games on-disc, though Tokyo Jungle's one of those games with a bunch of small DLC and none of it's included, nor was it ever bundled, which makes it kind of a crappy physical copy. So it's one of those games where you're better off just pirating the whole kit & caboodle.

Also for what it's worth, there's nothing that special about the Best of PSN disc. The games all just show up separately within the XMB, and you have to install them, so they functionally operate just like their PSN counterparts, but you need the disc to play them. Unless your PS3 is softmodded, of course. There are no extras or anything. Just four games as-is.
I have the old PSX demo discs from day one, including the digi-packs. They're not worth shit though :(

Thanks a lot. You just reminded me of Marble Blast Ultra, a now-delisted XBLA game that did get a physical release… of its demo.

Speaking of xbla is it easy to hack a 360 i am considering getting one which verison is better slim or E model for jailbreaking

The best way for Sony to make me keep liking them is to port all their exclusives to PC. Also don't make a launcher Sony you stupid Jap faggots. Just put them on Steam you fags. No one wants a new launcher cock suckers.

It's gone down in price then, because it was selling for around $150 a couple of years ago, just like Spiderman Web of Shadows was, maybe because of Spiderverse? Just a guess, because it seems retarded that people would pay that much for a bad Spider-Man game.

Then again, given how bad the PS4 Spiderman game's story is, I'd pay more not to play it as well.

I made the rare trek to Gamestop recently and they had a big sign on the door that said "PS5 AVAILABLE". I was curious so I checked it out and all of them were used consoles, there were no new ones. So the availability issue with the PS5 may be solved, just not in the way Sony might want. Also saw 2 people trading in Dualsense controllers and they got rejected because they failed the test for drift. Also, WHY THE FUCK DOES XCOM 2 ON SWITCH REQUIRE A 30GB DOWNLOAD JUST TO PLAY FUG

Also: The Resistance games are mediocre at best, like Singularity without fun gimmicks. PS3 Ratchet games are also mediocre as fuck with idiotic "Ratchet is da chosen one!" shit. Ratchet as a whole is a case of an imitator being better than it's inspiration though since Metal Arms was Ratchet but better.

There is a major issue with a bunch of Switch ports being exactly 12gb, or just over 30gb. Devs dont seem to care about actual compression anymore and simply get is small enough to fit on the cheaper 12gb carts, or in the case of xcom, forgo the cart and just force people to download 30gb. Its actually a really easy way of figuring out of a port is good or not. I think the only game thats 30gb and also uses the 30gb cart is Witcher 3.
Its also really fricking annoying for me because despite having a hacked switch, I don't have the SD card space for that many of the large AAA ports because of this. Also I have to end up splitting the NSPs since the Switch has the habit of corrupting files over time if you use ExFat, so I have to use Fat32. I've ended up buying games physically just to save SD card space. There is no reason for a game to be unable to fit on a cart, the only reason they don't is because of laziness on the dev's part. Game's being bloated to hell is an issue with games nowadays, just because devs are no longer bound to physical media (for some reason), so they don't bother compressing anything. Textures just keep getting bigger, and texture size don't scale linearly, its exponential.
I think the only games that are actually compressed and fit on a physical media are Japanese games, probably because of them being slower to adopt digital media (I assume). Elden ring is under 50gb, Bluray's can fit 50gb on single layer, 100gb on dual layer, but that costs more. Nintendo offers Switch carts up to 64gb, but I don't think there are any games that even use them. I think the only game that uses the 32gb cart is Witcher 3.

There are a few of them in the japanese side, such as Dragon Quest Heroes I+II, Final Fantasy X&X-2, Tsukihime remake, Witch and the Holy Night but they're still relatively rare.
Hatsune Miku Project Diva MEGA39 with all the song DLCs costs a whooping 39.7GB and Fuuraiki 4 (FOG's countryside/tourism simulator with 360° travel videos) goes slightly above 50GB with the HQ-video + neighbor nippon regions DLCs.

Final Fantasy X&X-2
I didn't think about this, because in the west they released just the first game on the cart and stuck in an e-shop code for the rest of them. The base game of FFX is 12gb though... for some reason, despite it being a ps2 game and all that.

It's basically a repeat of what happened with the Playstation Vita versions of the games where FFX was sold on cart for the western audiences with FFX-2 only available as a PSN download code. Whereas in Japan, both games were sold in separate cartridges. The sole difference is that the Switch version of the games are multi-language regardless of which region you buy it from.

Reminder the Playstation Vita had so much potential, just not in Sony's hands.

Got the Spyro remakes for a very young relative with a bad internet connection and a home full of tech boomers incapable of understanding anything with more processing power than an Intel 8008. I forgot the Switch version required downloading. I also need to get an SD card.

Spyro should not require this much set up.

Can't blame the SD card size limit for Spyro. The PS4 and X1 versions didn't include the full game on disc either. Activision just loves having their bullshit online requirements.

I thought they changed that and released a version with all the games on the disc after complaints?

So apprantly the new sony exclusive forspoken only runs at 720p 30fps (dipping into 20s) on the PS5. Looking at the minimum requirements for the PC version, to run the game at 720p 30fps will require a GTX 1060 6gb or RX 5550 XT 8gb card and 16gb of ram.

The initial rumor was that 2 and 3 weren't on disc at all, so Activision put out a statement about a week before release saying more or less "Previous reports that only the first game is on disc are false, players will absolutely be able to play all the hub levels in 2 and 3 without an additional download."

That's unbelievable. It must be a seriously bloated piece of shit to only run at 720p30 on a PS5. Those PC recommended requirements are outrageous, too:

I think that's the first time I've ever seen over 16gb RAM in a game's recommended requirements. And the recommended requirements still target 30fps, lol, lmao even. Do you need a NASA supercomputer to pull off 4k60? All of this power for their stupid Amerimutt ESG score booster game that'll be forgotten before spring.

Imagine this being the game you're gonna get people updating their rig for, asking each other "Can it run X?" like Crysis, fucking Forspoken. Did Luminous Productions develop an entire game without finding out stuff like Level of Detail exists?

Forspoken (based on the trailers and demo) has INSANE TAA artifacting and blurring, and it looks like the particle effects are half res, so like 480p on ps5
