But Grand Theft Auto existed before Shadow was even a thing.Shadow sold over two million copies, in an egregious demonstration that crime does pay.

When Shadow stole a jeep, I expected someone to lecture Lazlow on the Australian War.But Grand Theft Auto existed before Shadow was even a thing.
There are no Emus in the Sonicverse....When Shadow got in the jeep, I half-expected some guy to lecture Lazlow on the Australian War.
Allow me to scythe you down to your place. His name is Guru Emu and he debuted in Tails #1.There are no Emus in the Sonicverse....
I won't argue that objectively, Shadow the Hedgehog was a shit game, but at a certain point it hits "so shit it's fun" for me. Might be my lack of taste again, idk. Least Crush 40 kept the soundtrack from being horrible.Shadow with a gun was the least offensive one.
Sonic has always been more about presentation. By that metric, Unleashed is the greatest Sonic game of the modern era.even if it's complete dogshit, the soundtrack is passable

Shadow was low-key racist and an emo kid. I wouldn't be surprised he was some 00s kid's violent fantasy.
FUCK YOU I WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME ♪Shadow the Hedgehog is very much the kind of character that could only have been made in the same era that gave us Sasuke Uchiha, Linkin Park, Hot Topic mall goths, My Chemical Romance, New Atheism, and those god-awful Matrix sequels.
Sonic Labyrinth could’ve been good if it were more like Kirby Tilt ‘n Tumble, that sort of gimmick would work well for Sonic.I have nostalgia for the Adventure games. They introduced me to Sonic proper and I just enjoyed the music and vibe they had. Yeah, they are very clearly flawed in retrospect, it I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have some soft spot for them.
Never could get into the older 2D games for whatever reason. That was always more by brother’s thing.
06 was an absolute disaster in the best way possible. I grew to love watching other people online suffer through it and react to all the bugs, loading screens and absolutely stupid and nonsensical story.
In retrospect I have to ask: Sonic Labyrinth. Who in the world thought it was a good idea to make a game based entirely on taking away the one thing people like to play Sonic for? That would kill most series nowadays.
I’d like a beat-‘em-up starring Knuckles, so maybe Wario isn’t too far off.I'm game for another spinoff. Maybe in the Wario vein.
I'd rather they do that than funnel "shooting", "fishing", and "kart racing" into one title.
Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood on the DS is an RPG and it’s...not good. The most memorable part is the garbage MIDI soundtrack.I wasn't joking the other day about Paper Sonic.
I'd play that. You could do a ton of neat things with that world and lean more into the goofy fun stuff instead of trying to make a game about a blue hedgehog into a serious wartime drama. Has Sonic had a RPG before?
