if that's the case, does that mean that the version of Sonic 1 and 2 will be the mobile ones that Christian Whitehead made since they were widescreen as well?Sorry for the double post, but this is an important bit of news:
The version of S3+K in Sonic Origins is confirmed to be widescreen https://twitter.com/KatieChrz/status/1397972387870642178
I'm going to be honest the chances of them going back to the Adventure style or just bringing back humans are pretty slim, it's a nice thing to think about but it's probably not true.and from how realistic that forest looks it seems their going back to the Adventure style. we will probably see humans again.
Strong is one way to put it.Say what you want about Sonic, he has survived a lot of disasters. He's still going strong. 30 years strong.
Unpopular Opinion but I never liked Sonic Colors. Sonic felt so stiff in that game, and it was especially noticeable in the 2D segments. I also didn't like the Wisps, and still don't. Their inclusion in Sonic Lost World made NO sense to me whatsoever.Sonic Colors was alright. But after the first couple levels (aka the ones demoed at trade shows) the quality dropped.
I mostly agree. It is the best of bad Sonic games. The worst good Sonic game was Generations.Unpopular Opinion but I never liked Sonic Colors. These opinions gave me a light stroke, but I'll respect them all the same once my face comes unstuck.I mostly agree. It is the best of bad Sonic games. The worst good Sonic game was Generations.
And the second best Sonic game is Spinball. Fight me.
It's okay, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is number one and that is all that matters. You better not be a Sonic Adventure fag. These opinions gave me a light stroke, but I'll respect them all the same once my face comes unstuck.
agree. i do think SA1 is right behind S3&K, followed by Sonic 2, Unleashed and Adventure 2. the handhield games are also very underrated. It's okay, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is number one and that is all that matters. You better not be a Sonic Adventure fag.
I am, but I also think S3+K is the best. I am a solar system-cum-shitposter of many varied opinions. It's okay, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is number one and that is all that matters. You better not be a Sonic Adventure fag.
Argh!! My kingdom for a gas chamber!agree. i do think SA1 is right behind S3&K, followed by Sonic 2, Unleashed and Adventure 2. the handhield games are also very underrated.
idk, i think Spinball is an OKayish-good spinoff but not list worthy, i think Sonic 1 can't be better than Sonic 2 due to having the first game syndrom due to how slow and linear stages like Marble or Labyrinth feel and how it relies purely on physics, when later games have moves like the spindash and larger stages, and CD to me is just poorly designed most of the time and can get tedious tbh, but Sonic R is also very underrated. my personal lists imo would be, woudn't put it under the worst 2D games or even the worst classic games, but i think it's very average.Argh!! My kingdom for a gas chamber!
Alright boys, whip out your lists and let's settle this. It's time for ScrewAttack's Top Five Sonic Games of All Time:
Honorable mention: Sonic R.
- Sonic 3 & Knuckles
- Sonic Spinball
- Sonic 1
- Sonic 2
- Sonic CD
Alright you're up, Handsome Tom.
Can any of you still hear the announcer voice?
In no order (apart from S3+K obviously)Argh!! My kingdom for a gas chamber!

I guess the young bulls don't appreciate the game of kings: pinball.idk, i think Spinball is an OKayish-good spinoff but not list worthy
S&K is the easiest to just pick up and play. I haven't touched it in over a decade, and I could probably still beat it blindfolded. Special stages and all. It's cotton candy. It's okay, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is number one and that is all that matters. You better not be a Sonic Adventure fag.
It's a bold move which didn't pan out. Also yeah, Sonic CD is a complete trash fire. But it is a well-oiled trash fire.
The only two good things from CD is the race against Metal Sonic and the soundtrack. Everything else just felt kind of empty, for some reason. It's a bold experiment which didn't pan out. You shouldn't have to backtrack in a Sonic game, or really any platformer. Under any circumstance. The time travel is pretty redundant, as well, since the Past hides all the secret crap. You're penalized if you go to the Future
Metal is a remix of the Labyrinth Zone chase. It doesn't live up to the hupe. The only two good things from CD is the race against Metal Sonic and the soundtrack.
I don't know why listed "S1 Gen" and didn't put Knuckles Chaotix in it's role, not sure why you didn't include Forces as well then, lol.S3K > Mania > S2 > S1 Master System > S1 Gen
Fuck the 3d sanic games
