Yeah, Jun Senoue's classic tracks really just need to stop trying to be genesis tracks and just use real instruments.

*Pop pop pop pop*This is kind of a weird complaint, but I am so sick of Sonic Team's music composer's obsession with the snare drums from Sonic 1. It's been a constant ever since Sonic 4, where every time they do something "Retro," it's always those fucking snares. There were other drums samples on the fucking Genesis, you know? Including the Sonic games? Yet they act like it's the only one that exists.
Did P06 manage to implement the weird day/night cycle Sonic Team planned for the game?why play a new midcore game when you can play an old good one? finally got my hands on project 06 and its pretty good. never played the original 06 but seen alot of gameplay. it like night and day.
lol, no idea they planned that. and no, there is no hub world or ay boss battles yet. just stages.Did P06 manage to implement the weird day/night cycle Sonic Team planned for the game?
Say what you will about Knuckles Chaotix, but the drum instrument they used for that game is top fucking notchThis is kind of a weird complaint, but I am so sick of Sonic Team's music composer's obsession with the snare drums from Sonic 1. Sonic's good for putting out some quality songs but I'll be damned if Choatix wasn't one of the emptiest and bland games I've ever played in my lifeSay what you will about Knuckles Chaotix, but the drum instrument they used for that game is top fucking notch
Woe betide the day Sega finally gets around to skimping on their music budgetSonic's good for putting out some quality songs but I'll be damned if Choatix wasn't one of the emptiest and bland games I've ever played in my life
Chaotix is like peak interesting concepts, mediocre execution. Plus five acts per zone? Way too much. Really cool special stage, though.Sonic's good for putting out some quality songs but I'll be damned if Choatix wasn't one of the emptiest and bland games I've ever played in my life
It's not even the original sample, it's an extra-compressed version of it:This is kind of a weird complaint, but I am so sick of Sonic Team's music composer's obsession with the snare drums from Sonic 1. Jesus, they're STILL using this piece of shit?and they are especially angry by the use of Denuvo
What the fuck was going through Sonic Team's head on that decision?
It's Sonic Team and Sega we're talking about. Sonic Team kicks people in the nards while Sega hard punches them in the face, both at the same time to make sure nobody gets what people are expecting. What cruel god have I pissed off to be continuously disappointed with every launch made by Sonic Team? Why the fuck would a STEAM GAME not only require an Epic Games Account for online play, but auto-install the Epic Games Store onto your PC upon launch?
What the fuck was going through Sonic Team's head on that decision? Why is it that every time they regain the good will of the gaming audience, they have to skullfuck that goodwill into the dirt? Sonic already has a reputation for being hit-or-miss on quality, the last thing they should do is piss off their audience as well.
I sure as hope for a new Jet Set Radio game, unless if it turns out shitView attachment 5421475
The PDF got deleted soon after he posted it, so it's safe to assume it's legit. Interestingly, this lines up with a previous rumor concerning SEGA as a whole:
