Is there a rule where you need to clear solicitation with the site owner, I mean Null couldnt promote this place as a replacement for fyad.

Well, it's also saying 'we say you get access to the forums if you send us money - but if we don't like you, that's not true'. It gives them the chance to ban you before you even have a chance to say anything, because they don't trust you.

I'm sure it's a policy that will work well, though. After all, everyone knows troons are the least paranoid people on earth. That's why they have a policy in place to ban wrong-think before it can even materialise as wrong-text.
 
I haven't kept it a secret that I used to post on SA. Sometimes I forget how incredibly gay it is to participate there, though.

A ton of leftists got probated for dragging their personal grudges against each other into QCS, yet again. I say "a ton" because that's what their weight most likely adds up to, at least. The probation reasons are very telling.

The fact that the concept of "posting enemies" exists at all is endlessly amusing to me, and reminds me how terrible it was to participate in any SA discussion whatsoever. Goons are extremely prone to developing intense personal grudges that are never, ever put to rest. Goons are also very easy to piss off; even something as innocuous as a factual disagreement can suddenly become a personal vendetta. Once a goon decides he has it out for you, you can expect some or all of the following to occur:

  • Attacks on your postcount (postcount used to be displayed instead of a user's regdate; they were removed because this kept fucking happening but goons will still check your profile)
  • Attacks on your regdate
  • Attacks on your avatar, title, or lack thereof
  • "Welcome to my ignore list"
  • Redtext
  • Banner ads pointing to your posts
  • Creeping your post history for anything that can be weaponized
  • Following you into every thread you post or post in and stirring up shit
  • Reporting every post you make
  • Whining about you incessantly to the mods via PMs and QCS posts
  • Doxing for the express purpose of doing gay ops
  • Gay ops of every imaginable form

I could list more examples but you probably get the gist. I'm reminded of how mentally ill people in the throes of a meltdown will weaponize and/or destroy absolutely anything within reach. Goons make no distinction between "I disagree with you" and "I want to hurt you in every way I can think of," which speaks to how seriously they take their posting.

I can't see the thread, but knowing how things typically go in D&D, every single person who got probated was someone else's posting enemy. Someone most likely went into QCS to say "Condiv is a big mean poopie head" and everybody else showed up to post in the "Ban My Posting Enemy" thread and it turned into a melee.

Moderation of d&d is a lot of it. Goons acting like they are going to riot before the election even hits. D&D is a time bomb right now, and who knows what is going to happen. Maybe the closure of the subforum? A FYAD repeat?

I don't see any banner ads, so they might've been taken down. Though, it's great to see that the tranny hugbox is now just as big of a boogeyman as kiwifarms is for them. Whatever happened to good allyship and the right side of history?

And yet there posting sucks.

One thing SA did right, back in the late 90 early oughts was to say "no AIM l33t shit" it helped make the place easier to read and stand out.

But find good informative posts by goons or even just average entertaining ones
