Lowtax is kinda right, but he's also lying through his teeth.
1. Lawyers can't take divorce and child support cases on a contingency basis.
2. While Ashlee might have gotten a pro bono attorney to help her navigate the shelter/immigration issues, there is no reason for a pro bono attorney to do her divorce because there are laws on the books requiring attorney's fees to be paid out of marital assets. In other words, there is no way a lawyer is representing Ashlee for "free" when they could be getting paid by LT.
3. Just because a lawyer would eventually be getting paid by Lowtax doesn't mean they don't require a retainer/court fees to get the process started, especially when the person filing the divorce complaint (eg Ashlee) has marital income that would disqualify her from filing In forma pauperis.

even in the unlikely scenario that ashlii is actually using the gfm money to get out of the shelter or something and not a lawyer i think most of the people donated for the wellbeing of the kid in the first place so i doubt anyone would really have a problem with that.
