I don't like FAU much but tbh it's not like anyone who would actually WANT to be an admin of SA at this point would be any better.

There are plenty of people who would use their admin powers to shut the board, which is better than what FAU is doing.
 
They should make me admin. I'll literally never sign in, or do any moderation, unless I get drunk and randomly decide to fuck with some people.

This would be a huge improvement from their current staff, and would probably lead to some amusing content.

Because they have embarrassing secrets, I assume. It almost seems like a requirement to mod SA is to be a completely ridiculous person with highly embarrassing lives.

Primarily because they aren't admins here, so they can't censor anything that goes on here. Kiwifarms is pretty hated by the #woke crowd that ZDR and FAU are trying to court on SA (crazy trannies included) primarily because they hate people who shine a light on shenanigans. Additionally, KF is much more fun of a place to post than SA and doesn't cost 10 american dollars to do so and as a result is becoming a place for ex-SA folks to congregate.

ZDR in particular probably didn't like the hate generated here from his last "fundraising" effort, in particular. On SA he can edit/prob/ban people who dare to ask "If this happens every year why don't you plan around it?" or "why should we pay you to fix the search that's been broken for 10 years" but here he had no such luxury.
