I think Pick was at one point like at least one of 3 BYOB secret-select-club members that was in some way apparently IRL friends with then-mod Troposphere. I dont know what happened, if there was a falling out or Troposphere was a normie or what but Trop appears to not be a mod anymore and Im not sure if they even post all that often anymore. She talked about her hot boyfriend a lot which Im sure set Pick off. Trop seemed pretty normie for SA, so Im sure she stepped down willingly if she was asked, or possibly asked to herself. I think Trop tried to wingman for Pick and I read they used to mail each other shit back and forth but I think Pick was too fucking broken even for a super-inclusive GBS mod. I remember Pick talking about how she was some hot, skinny blonde, but not only that, her parents were rich and she "had her shit together" and didnt know why (hot?) men werent falling at her feet. If all of that were true, they would be lady, but youre like Elliot Rodgers level crazy.

I could be completely wrong, I only hung out in GBS when Kiwifarms was shut down that one month last year and OwO posted that thing.

I do like how Botany talks down another person's baseless assumption but acts like their own baseless assumption is correct anyway.

Also, if I remember correctly, Null bought the Kiwifarms ad the same time the other ads were taking up space in the rotation. Lowtax just didn't care.
 
Someone posted here that the offensive banner ads would all get taken down the minute a banner about transsexuals went up. Well, you were right, because this was the last banner that went up, about 2 hours before Lowtax deleted them all.

I know this, because I'm the one that made all the banners. I split the bill of paying for them to go up on the site with some other people. By the end of this little escapade we were really just amazed that no one was doing anything about it, and we just tried to see how far we could go and how indignant of a reaction we could get. I was pretty satisfied with my purchase.

Chargebacks would probably work on the basis of Lowtax being too lazy to argue with the bank that SA's advertising policy entitles them to pull ads for "offensive content" or whatever. I would be very surprised if their terms didn't include such a clause.
 
Lowtax has been fucked by chargebacks in the past. That’s why I brought it up as a means to fuck with him, it was a poster who charged a ton of forums services then got banned. I think they were even using their mom’s card.

Anyway, good job fucking with them. You should buy the rapid onset gender dysphoria banner just to piss off the troons.
 
Chargebacks are actually pretty annoying to fight on both ends. In the middle of one right now. Any company with a lawyer on staff will just throw stacks and stacks of pdfs at the card issuer. If lowtax were clever and industrious, he would just prepare his own mountain of documentation, ToS agreements, etc, once and be done with it.
