Hey, remember when somebody said that they should stop responding to easy bait? They didn't listen.

I do like how Botany talks down another person's baseless assumption but acts like their own baseless assumption is correct anyway.

Also, if I remember correctly, Null bought the Kiwifarms ad the same time the other ads were taking up space in the rotation. Lowtax just didn't care.
Love how this KoRMak guy immediately jumps to the defense of furries

So, is their any mechanism to protect against us creating custom avatars? Because my payday is tommorow and I've got a few idea's for some of the posters.

Eh, the Silent Majority guy spent hundreds of dollars making pro-Trump avatars. It just ended up with people eventually paying to replace them. You can have some fun trolling with avatar wars for a while, but the only winner is Lowtax in the end.

Personally I'd go with buying ads for websites and people they hate, like the Trump subreddit, the NRA, Republican party contributions, Fox News, Ben Shapiro, Jordan Peterson, Christian gay conversion therapy, etc. As long as it isn't obviously offensive, I doubt Lowtax would bother to remove them.

Technically no, however I believe moderators and administrators can give new avatars/titles to users at will, free of charge. If you give people avatars that to the SA hivemind would be "offensive" there's an extremely high chance that FAU or someone else will just undo it and your money will essentially be forfeited unless you run a chargeback or something. (But I don't know how that works in a scenario like this, nor how you would explain this to your card issuer.)

This is arguably the better route to go because it's been proven that the banner ads are untouchable by everyone except for Lowtax. No one else can modify them except for the person who's hardly around. However I wouldn't do it right now because now Lowtax is awake and paying attention. Wait until he stops giving a shit again.

Give Koalas March a Clayton Bigsby avatar.

While this is amusing... throwing heaps of money at a guy which will get some weirdos to throw their own heaps of money at that guy... I feel like perhaps Lowtax's recent moves might actually be kind of genius.

He doesn't feel like doing any work for his site. This is well known. But he also wants money. Which is also well known. So what does he do? Well, why not let a ridiculously thin skinned, authoritarian, and extremely active group take over?

The conflict between them and the existing somewhat dissatisfied users means bans and reregs, plus lots and lots of avatar changes. Sweet bux.
Long time users sick of lowtax's bullshit were going to be gone soon enough anyway, why not bring in some new blood and let them feel like they're winning?
Then, you've got a site full of some of the easiest to troll idiots available. Your site is already set up to monetize users fucking with one another.

This ad banner stuff is just the next level. Instead of needing real advertisers, that is being taken up by users who want to fuck with each other. Now the userbase is clamoring to be able to pay to remove the banners...

I mean, what better way to keep making money off SA while not having to do any work?

So....your giving lowtax money? Let me know how that works out. If lowtax wanted his glory and his people back he would banned every troon/faggot/d&d poster and mod.

Who is the user suggesting this... lowtax alt maybe posting itt egging us on?

Places like SA and Kiwifarms are some of the last places of refuge for the "old" internet. Meaning shit that isn't reddit, facebook, or twitter. So yes I wouldn't mind supporting SA and angering some retards that post there at the same time.

I think the avatar stuff wouldn't work for reasons already stated but the banners are pro mode because like people are saying, it's causing tremendous ass-ravaging to the usual suspects and clearly Low-T is in the hotseat from troons and commies to GET RID OF THE ADS OR ELSE. Best part is that either way it makes him actually have to... work, which is Richard's greatest ambient-induced nightmare.

Either he lets the ads go and oh boy he made some paltry amount of cash for his failed site BUT disrupts the carefully balanced neglect that allows the site to continue limping on thanks to paypig sadbrain NO FUN ALLOWED sjws causing them to screech and PM him and harass him on the few websites that haven't banned him...

OR he yanks the ad requiring him to actually log into whatever tool he uses and then eat the resulting chargeback fee or fight it unless he updates the ToS which lol, more work so guess the odds on that happening.

Someone do a Proud Boys or Roosh V ad. Those will drive the wannabe Antifa idiots crazy.

Don’t fuck with avatars, any mod can change them but I’m sure FAU will be the first to protect his troons and tokens.

Lowtax could triple his revenue if he did everything i just said...ban the faggots, mods and close d&d. They would come pouring back in and lets get back to old time shenanigans..I would rereg if I couldn't get banned for dumb ass political shit they ban for now adays.

But until then the death clock keeps ticking

I'm paying money to advertise my website. All the children freaking out over $30 are free to stop reading this thread.
When you fund Lowtax, you're funding his slow death by proxy as he continues to chug down more pills and wine. Plus you're making troons upset. Sounds like a win/win to me!

I've copped shit for saying this before, but Lowtax is nowhere near as bad as his userbase (at least these days) and I really don't get the A-Logging for him personally. As far as I can see, a situation whereby angering his crazy tankie troon userbase (who I suspect he hates, go back to the whole Shmorky/Voidburger drama) with these ads is the only thing keeping him in ambien and box wine is a hilariously ironic situation. Giving money to Lowtax is not the same as giving money to these exceptional speds that occupy his forum, it might even help drive them out and make the place a nice place to hang out again. And if you do hate Lowtax for whatever reason, think of it as a downpayment on more liver damage and it's not like it's your money. As I see it, it's a win-win.

Oh, and Troposphere is a troon, if anyone hadn't already guessed. There was a prominent poster (Jastiger, maybe? Can't remember and search is broken) who was perma'd for admitting he spanked it to a picture of them in their pajamas. SA is a weird place.

Settle down, Beavis. That's for the sped's wanting to go on an AV buying sprees, not for a single ad.

No matter what lowtax does, SA will die at this point. There is no "bringing it back". The whole site runs on inertia at this point; if SA were to go down for a week, everyone would go to probably reddit and it'd be completely finished. But even if he brought in actual good moderation, updated to a modern platform, and did whatever culture change people are suggesting this week, it wouldn't matter as the damage is done. All the talented people have left and found better places to be talented and creative elsewhere. They aren't going to come back for a small audience of dumbasses who paid $10 to post on the internet.

On the flip side of that coin, SA has been dying for the past decade. It'll continue its slow drift into that faggy night for at least another decade, probably more than two, when Lowtax will still be using "grandma" unironically despite likely being a grandpa himself.
