This is pretty much exactly true. That's why search was broken for so fucking long (it still might be, idk). Lowtax blames Radium, but let's be honest, he knew Radium was garbage for at least 5 years and didn't do anything about it.
 
SA's forums are a dumpster fire of bad code, but I am like 99% certain the front page is just a basic database-driven content management system. Deleting or removing content shouldn't be that hard in theory. Though, it would not surprise me if Radium's magic code seeped into that and broke it too.

From what I've gathered over the years, Lowtax is (or has been) on some really cheap-ass hosting which means one or more of the following is true:

1) there's no data redundancy
2) there's no development database, only production (I know for a fact this was true at some point under Radium, idk if it still is)
3) their servers are underpowered as shit
4) anything that goes wrong will take forever to fix by the 3 trained chimpanzees on the service desk

This chart is fake news because as we all know Lowtax said the forums cost him money to run. Only the magical creation of wealth from his non-existent other job is what allows Lowtax to operate the forums at a loss out of the goodness of his heart.

For real though this chart is just a general idea of revenue numbers and doesn't take into account things like re-regs, buying other people forums features or advertisement so Lowtax is probably down to $35,000 - $45,000 a year from the forums which is why he is crying for donations so much lately. Don't forget he scammed people for Xenforo 2.0 money last year on top of that 28,000.

I hope he posts another beg thread soon so goons can brag about giving him $50 or $100 at a time while he simultaneously posts on twitter about his wicked hearthstone pulls.

I'd be shocked if it costs more than 1,000 per month to keep the forums running. But he still has to pay taxes and child support. Plus he's got a new wife that doesn't work and a baby.

The crazy thing is due to the ideological extremism of millennial sjws there's actually a market for strictly controlled hugboxes where no one can hurt your feelings. If LowT updated his dead gay forum to look more modern and started shilling on left wing clickbait sites like Salon there's a good chance he could make a comeback.

He won't though because he's a lazy pillhead asshole.

Yeah, that's why you see the halving of revenue. You had people being banned or 10k years probated and just never bothering to rereg like they were expected to. You see this happening more and more. 2007 and 2008 was when SASS was most active, and his income dropped by about a third. His response was to create Helldump, a watered down goon approved version of SASS which screwed him over in the long run. It didn't get rid of the shitty posters, and all it did was destroy any camaraderie goons had.

When that didn't work he decided to crawl into a pill bottle and ignore his sole stream of income for a decade.

And you know Ashli isn't happy. Rumor has it she used to be a model, but I don't know if she has done any actual professional modeling work, or if it's more like a Pixyteri situation where she's taking pictures of her ass for fun. Either way, you know she doesn't have any assets or marketable skills (other than spreading her legs and takin' load).

And just some food for thought, if her and LowT both got full time jobs at Wal-mart, they'd both gross $45k.
