Admins are supposed to stop this personal fiefdom style of moderation but they're as bad if not worse than the mods. The whole group top to bottom needs to be cleaned out, but that would require Lowtax to give a shit.

Edit: Also, 6 hour probations are basically bullshit joke "bans" so posting them to prove agenda stuff is misleading. Anything longer than 6 hours has to be approved though, so those are legit.

Light probations are part of the SA culture. It's fine if you don't like them, I can understand that point of view, but they're not a big deal and nobody on SA takes them seriously.

I get being mad if it's something you've paid for. Like when my cable was down for a day during football season and I called up the company and demanded that my monthly charge be credited for atleast 1/30th of the bill or I would pull the plug. You're paying for a service, you didn't break any rules by letting you neighbors steal signal or running a descrambler box. They owe the consumer for their time that was forfeit.

In that particular instance, you have a contract with Comcast that promises you uptime and such, and they probably gave you 1 days refund because the CSRs were tired of listening to weaponized autism over the phone and wanted you to fuck off.

You have no such contract with the somethingawful forums. You paid a one time fee to access a privately owned internet forum with the understanding, like on pretty much every forum on the internet, that the admins can do whatever they please to your account at pretty much any time they please.

Please make legal threats to Lowtax over your 6 hour probation for posting "im gay" or whatever. SA hasn't had a Leonard J. Crabs article on the front page in a while.

A lot of people do, but can't talk about it. Even more should. And probations are garbage anyway, things worked better when it was just verbally warn or ban.

The leftist mods are using those probations as punishment for wrongthink and as a record to know who to ban in future, they aren't using 6-hour probations as a joke.
