That's the thing, the "doxxing" avatar was only up for one minute because a janny was in the thread at the time and instantly removed it.

That didn't stop goons from demanding the feature be removed, because even though all kinds of depraved shit have been put into those avatars since the 2000s, once it negatively impacts a trans users it has to go. Even though it won't hinder users in the slightest from putting private info in say, a regular post.

To some degree its unavoidable but this is half the problem with a community like SA and a person like Jeffrey, people get preoccupied with other people on the site so special exceptions are constantly carved out no matter how inappropriate or ridiculous they get. Why was Turtlicious given all these chances despite being such a fucking damaging freak? Because he has Jeffrey's ear as a vulnerable trans person so, weeeeeelllll, maybe the rules don't quite apply to him like they would to anyone else.

This is why communities like this get so toxic, you see it on overdrive on places like Resetera too, the mods are part of the community so they'll end up having their pets, and people will very deservedly get upset about arbitrary application of the rules where some crazy tranny who's repeatedly gone well past the pale and essentially false flagged himself for sympathy points with full knowledge of how damaging this is to the forum at large gets treated with kid gloves until it can't be ignored any longer. Meanwhile somebody saying retard will be slammed as hard as possible with the full force of the admins power.

It almost makes you miss Lowtax's indolent ways since, in his later years, he was so disconnected from the forum and what was going on that he didn't really have these kind of relationships that undermine the whole community when people see who's playing favourites, every now and again he could do something like force the mods to abide by the longstanding rules and expectations of the forum like enforcing the Trump Toxxs in D&D. Jeffrey would never do that because he essentially bought the forum so that he could have friends.

There was one or more troons that made a thread that mourned a poor trans sister that died in prison. He had been denied that life saving healthcare.
