-to be a computer engineer
-to be a college dropout
-to have a college degree
-to be a CEO
-to be involved in a property development business
-to be a day trader
-to be experiencing sleep paralysis every single night
-to be an insomniac
-to be working on a video codec and some AI bullshit he hopes to sell to Microsaaar
-to not have done coding as a job in years

While also keeping keeping his finger on the pulse of the latest slop drama and somehow having time for extra shit like teaming up with Karl Jobst (LOST) to go trough the finances of the Jihad Kalil Completionist.
All of this and then also doing daily upload YouTube as a side hustle.

This reads like the typical jeet resume straight out of Mumbai.

There's a subreddit called r/southasianmasculinity (or something) and Mutahar reminds me of that so much. He could post there for all I know.

It's a bunch of mentally ill Indians living in the US and Canada, kvetching about owning guns and being stronger than white people, having great jobs and all kind of weird crap. But you can tell that what they're talking about is pushing lies about themselves (like being proficient with firearms, avid weightlifters, and prolific "engineers") in order to create a perception and then using that perception to get ahead somehow. It doesn't make sense how it would work, but this is the pajeet brain we're talking about.

I'm almost always onboard when it comes to talking shit about Indians, but i must admit that i like Mutahar and i don't think his situation is THAT big of a deal, it's more embarrasing to him than anything else. I'm excited to see the response to the videos people made about him, maybe he will fess up or will double down and say that he was actually an engineer because he worked in IT or some shit.

I don't know where you're seeing "olympic level dickriding", I'm just saying I don't agree with the Nikandros's conclusion that Muta is con-artist trying to deliberately trick people into thinking that he's a "licensed, actively practicing engineer" based on some soundbites from old podcasts. Nowhere in the video does Nikandros provide evidence that Muta explicitly falsely claimed to have a degree or license in engineering.

Frontloading the video with a spiel about the Canadian government and the "legality" of who gets to call themselves an engineer exists to try and add the weight of criminality to a nothingburger. "Not only is Mutahar a evil filthy liar, but he's also a CRIMINAL!"

I don't watch Muta's content. The last laudable thing I remember him doing is shitting on Keffals two years ago. I gave this video a listen-through on my commute back from work and I arrived at my own conclusion.

"Bad faith" may have been improper phrasing, what I mean by that is that Nikandros seems like an alog with a bone to pick, considering the fact that his most frequent and popular content is about Mutahar. This isn't to say Mutahar or other sloptubers are above criticism, my point is that Nikandros doesn't seem like the most impartial person to deliver and adequately detail an accusation like this.

If he provided evidence of Mutahar repeatedly claiming to be a P.Eng (professional engineer), then I could see the point, the part about legality would make sense in that case.

He said "If you're gonna be an engineer, you need to go to university" once while running his mouth on a podcast and mentioned school a few times over the years, that must mean it's a belief he religiously abides by and can never deviate from? More than half of software engineers have a degree (but not all), "go to school" is decent advice.

He lied so much and to such a level, it's scary. Like, I'm actually scared of him. I wouldn't want to talk to him or he in the same room with him.

Lies to that extent give me the heeby-jeebies, like having a ghost in the room with you or something.

Calling yourself an "engineer" means nothing. It's not a real job description. It doesn't actually mean anything. In Canada, "engineer" means something different than the rest of the planet, adding to the irrelevancy and ambiguity of the term. At some point, in the 2000s programmers decided they'd sound cooler if they called themselves "engineers". Now zoomers are getting bent out of shape over the term, growing up thinking it meant something, while it never meant anything.

The majority of professionally employed "software engineers" are soydev webshitters who know basically nothing about anything. Waiting to get replaced by a LLM.
A number of these phenomena have been bundled under the name "Software Engineering". As economics is known as "The Miserable Science", software engineering should be known as "The Doomed Discipline", doomed because it cannot even approach its goal since its goal is self-contradictory. It's not in the Nikandros video but the lie about not intending to film the suicide forest when there is direct video evidence of him stating that he went to Japan to film a documentary in the suicide forest is insane. Nothing he says is believable, but the users sweeping it in this thread only look at the engineer claim and whether it is legal without looking at the other lies he made or how his statements about being a engineer contradict and form a timeline which is implausible. It isn't just that he lied about being an engineer, he lies about being in several different disciplines of engineering and contradicts himself about when he was an engineer and for what duration. There is no proof he has a 9-5 office job, or of any of these personal details he lords over people with. The Pirate Software situation must not be a big deal either, since Mutahar lies even more brazenly than the malding ferret does.

What a coincidence that they were the first generation of programmers who lacked the expertise implied by the word engineer. There is of course a reason why they wanted to be called software engineers (reminder that the term for "hardware engineer" is actually computer engineer), and why companies want to call video editors "video engineers", and why Mutahar calls himself an engineer.

Regardless, one of the biggest names in sloptubing has been exposed as a compulsive liar, who makes up stories about himself enough to rival PirateSoftware, and a dumbass who isn't qualified to talk about anything, neither through experience nor certification. I don't care if there were "no victims" or if it's legal.

It's a big deal since he uses his "computer engineer" thing to lend weight into his whole channel, since it's about technology. He made money out of that lie, using authority of a engineer would be, when he's just another jeet tech support in the end of the day

Seriously though, It goes to show just how munch you can get away with doing your research before throwing your two cents on something.
He lied about his credentials, but I still found his tech related videos informative enough not to be considered deceptive, you'll still find basic yet useful advice in them.
This revelation explains more on why he never touched coding in his videos, despite being one of the most popular content you'll find on youtube, even at one point it was the most popular form of content on the platform.
 
As comparisons to Maldy grow because both of them are so full of shit they can be made into a body type 1 and 2 selector screen. Maldy can be the default body in the game, and Muta can be Body type Poo.
 
I'm not surprised, stopped watching his videos a long time ago because its not just basic shit but its shit that could be explained in a minute but he stretches it for nearly half an hour or more without adding anything at all, not even some meaningful commentary or observations, just his dumbass opinions.
