Don't yell at me, but I honestly think being a hypocrite doesn't always make your view or argument invalid.
It would be like saying a murderer can't say murder is wrong and get onto someone else for murder.
Like I said in a recent tweet regarding Keem, and how Keem is getting on to Alex despite painting some guy as pedo or something, a person being a hypocrite doesn't make their point any less valid, and I think the validity of the point/argument is more important here than whether or not trying to make that point/argument is hypocritical of the person making it.
With the whole "Well Kavos didn't contact Slazo either" stuff.
You also have to consider, I'm pretty sure Kavos was not close to Slazo like Alex was, and it was probably easier for Alex or one of Slazo's backstabbing "friends" to contact Slazo than it would be for Kavos. And unlike Alex, there's no evidence suggesting that Kavos had any kind of insite into the allegations.
That would be perfectly fine... If it wasn't for the fact that Kavos is preaching morality and that Alex should've contacted Slazo before drumming up support for the accuser.
Not to mention, I never said it made his argument invalid, it's that he shouldn't open his trap telling others what they should've done, when he pretty much opened his mouth and stuck his foot in there.
He's essentially moral grandstanding, much like Alex did.
Even then, "I'm pretty sure Kavos was not close to Slazo like Alex was"
Neither was Nick Deorio, didn't stop the 4k youtuber from contacting Slazo for an interview and get his side of the story.
What the fuck is Kavos' excuse? Especially when you consider that Kavos' channel, the thing that he uses to pay the bills, is based on him actually knowing what the fuck he's talking about. And his twitter is tied with his youtube channel, and he has a responsibility, one that he put on himself since he kept on setting standards for other commentators, and degrading others based on his own personal morality. He doesn't really get to play the morality card, when he condemns people for things that he himself did.
"And unlike Alex, there's no evidence suggesting that Kavos had any kind of insite into the allegations."
Then by that logic, he shouldn't have opened his grossly yellow toothed mouth (seriously, the fact that he's so close to the camera really shows those yellow choppers) in the first place to call slazo a cunt and joke about 'it's rape time'. Again, he chose to be a news youtuber and tie his twitter into his channel. He actually did spread misinformation about Slazo when he decided to drop those tweets.
You're ignoring the fact that Kavos is pretty much grandstanding himself, something that he's done since he decided to talk smack about the other commentators in the community and became Keemstar's lapdog, and preaching what commentators should and shouldn't do.
"Imallexx should've contacted Slazo about this"
Well, Kavos should've too.
In fact, had he, it actually would've save Slazo a lot more grief and he would've possibly been able to get his side of the story out sooner, or at the very least, had some people in his corner in that regard.
Especially when you got him saying this stuff:
“RIP @Slazo fucking creepy guy. Why does the commentary community have so many fucking weirdos, do I make a video on this?”
twitter.com
And telling people to do their research:
“@AMartMadDog @RandomStuff_YTC @heygreyboy @Slazo @RiceGum I did mention that point. Lol please watch and do research before trying to come at me.”
twitter.com
I'm sorry, but he shouldn't be telling ANYONE to do their research when he can't follow his own fucking advice.
TL;DR.
YES, in this case, him being a hypocrite DOES invalidate his points.
Edit:
Also, Keemstar certainly wasn't friends with Slazo... Didn't stop him from reaching out to the guy.
