Hmmmm…. There are multiple studies that have good methodology that show that the p-hydroxybenzoate esters all have oestrogenoc activity in vivo as well as in vitro. They get broken down well if ingested or injected but if you put them on skin they do have oestrogenic effects. They also stimulate MCF-7 cells. I avoid them in all products and I don’t think they’re something we should be using.Parabens have been used for over 100 years, and is even in small amount NATURALLY in some foods.
