I think the main reason for a lot of salt is that this gets crazy views. Like 20M in 24h and 40-50m in a month. Thats batshit for what started as an SFM shitpost.
That being said, its the perfect pick for clownworld. Its not the long 20-40 minute videos that took months or longer to make that break into the mainstream, its a bootleg tiktok series about toilets with human heads battling humans with cameras as a head. All with an oddly good animation quality.
Add that this makes some retards genuinely salty for no sane reason and its perfect.

Even a channel that literally just compiled 50 episodes and re-uploaded that like 20 times gets several million views per video.

That being said, the more fun part is the rabbithole that follows any kinda modern social media trend.

A lot of us liked YTP and GMod skit series (GeeMawd Stewpidity, DasBoSchitt) back in the day, I know I did.

This is just that but taken in a more singular direction & more popular simply because the platform of YouTube is more popular and accessible than back then.

Is it stupid? Yes. Is it "lolsorandom"? Absolutely.
I just can't understand why everyone is losing their shit over kids and early teenagers enjoying something like this. Let them have their fun.
 
Videos are fine. I said it earlier but it’s just GMOD shitposting with a story.

The weirdos overly-obsessed with it, either as mega fanatics or haters, on the other hand…those are the people to be creeped out by.
 
When I first heard about it and the discourse around it I was expecting some Elsa-gate weirdness going on but nope, it's just wacky SFM animations. If I came across these without any context I probably wouldn't even think twice about them. I am curious as to why out of the endless amount of SFM content on youtube this was the thing that blew up with gen Alpha.
 
I hate youtube shorts, tiktoks or whatever else like that regardless of their quality. I can't get past the thought of it being a blatant psyop to further reduce people's attention spans. This toilet meme is funny, but let's be honest it's only as popular because youtube promotes shorts like crazy. Even normal SFM/GMOD animators started doing a lot of shorts.

I expected more people to point this out instead of whining about how it's so good and everyone who has a problem is a hypocrite.
 
I initially thought it was pretty dumb, but so are most of the old SFM/GMod videos, although the comments under the vieos seem a bit more retarded.

He also uploads the videos both as shorts and normal videos, so he basically gets double the views:

There's definitely a lot of effort put into the videos so I wouldn't say the attention is entirely undeserved, but it's clear that most of it comes from the fact that short videos are heavily promoted by youtube. It probably also won't take long until others hop onto the train and there'll be so much of this shit that people will get tired of it. There's already a bunch of videos in the recommendations doing exactly that:

I actually like this. I watched all the episodes and it starts out kind of silly but later there's a bunch of cool battle scenes between the toilets and cameramen.
