The hate seems to be more on the skidibi's being spammed to death nearly 24/7 to the point that you could make a case of it being a Source engine psyop. If you search Skibidi and watch it in youtube, nearly most of your recommendations will be that only, Gmod players' hatred stem from the fact that skibidi addons are constantly being spammed in the workshop, whether it be models, NPCs or reskins.

So basically a guy stops the war by forcing Putin and Zelensky to sign a peace agreement, but it doesn't work and they immediately start fighting again. Not sure why they all hate DaFuq for this.

After seeing the reupload, I do wish that he did not cave and released it. The ending of it took me by surprise, and it’s been while since SFM GMod video animations did that for me in a while.

I can’t defend him with the copyright striking violations since its disappointing to think that he owns those characters for the sake of believing that he started this trend that’s growing popular for him, but to see fans of his trying to “cancel” him for making a parody out of the George Floyd situation is equally hilarious.

Most of his fans of today come from the same TikTok/Reddit squares that only wish you made fun of the acceptable targets. Either way, I’d love to see a video made about that, if he actually has it stored somewhere on his channel.
 
Saw a few, but I'm not feeling it - seems retarded and dull for people to somehow continuously watch, though I also only watched GMod vids in moderation.

Can't fault the creator for making a living though.

In an age of algorithms dictating what we should watch, it's no surprise Skibidi Toilet's reach grew so quickly once the algo decided it should have it's turn in the spotlight.

Unfortunately, that means the fanbase grows faster than DFB can manage it.
 
Was buying a gizmo on an Internet marketplace today and saw a skibidi toilet plush in the children's toys section.

My thoughts on that aren't coherent enough to present them here. All I know is that the foreseeable future is moving in some weird, uncomfortable direction.

Gatekeeping nothing is how we've gotten where we're at, where a lot of the entertainment industry can't even be considered half decent. I don't think someone creating another brain worm for children to become obsessed over like among us or baby shark is a good thing, but I also don't really think this is anything more than a symptom of the problem, of the algorithmically sorted modern internet and what happens when you give millions of babies ipads and never parent them. And I actually appreciate that dafuq is trying to give this thing somewhat of a plot more than just toilets that beatbox, but as someone else said earlier it still doesn't really make up for that.
