As to the question of whether porn should be banned: no. You're fucking retarded to think otherwise. There is little additional conversation to be had on the topic.

As to the related question of whether porn is bad for you: it depends. Porn addiction can cause you to be into some wicked shit if you go overboard. I'm not going to go too deep into my interests, but porn is probably responsible for my developing an interest in anal sex. I thought the concept was disgusting at first. I remember getting into it when I started my foray into porn consumption. That's fairly kosher by today's standards (fun fact, anal sex is often called "the Jewish way" by Judaic scholars) but it makes sense.

Like alcohol, marijuana, exercise, you can make it a beneficial thing if you have the mindset to make it beneficial or, in another way to put it, not let it become toxic for you. That being said, it doesn't come as natural as the aforementioned.

I think there is a vicious cycle that starts with the fact that young boys think that watching porn is just what everyone does, and there aren't negative social consequences. I think if watching porn was like declaring yourself to be a weaboo some years back or publicly saying you are a furry weirdo who watches MLP, then maybe they would think twice?
It is not a stretch to think that watching incest porn is weird, or apparently anal is a lot more common now, or facial abuse, etc.. I think an actual reaction of "Ewww" is natural from most girls and women.

I think most of the "sex work is work" girls don't like what porn is turning men into. They will never admit it to their liberal friends, or maybe are not even able to connect the dots. Without porn, there would be better relations between the sexes. And they all lived happily ever after

• higher rates of depression from loneliness due to all of the above. Many think that chasing sexual dopamine hits is what they want, but the end result is reaching middle age and wondering how you made no significant emotional or social progress since you left high school.
• screwed up, hypersexual children due to the immense proliferation of porn and its ease of access. Much of gen Z was already screwed up before they even entered high school due to this and gen Alpha is headed down the same path if nothing’s done. Hard to have healthy relationships and strong families if children learn at an early age that sex is the ultimate goal of interpersonal interactions and that nothing else really matters.

I think a more realistic solution is to bring back shame towards porn users. Women are trying to make men express their emotions and all sort of gay stuff, however they are not strongly against porn because "sex work is work". I think if women stopped to demonize masculinity, and instead started to refuse to date any porn user, things would really change.

social/peer shaming of porn users by women could work in theory, but not within the liberal feminist culture that currently rules the west. it would be too much of a contradiction, the hypocrisy would be too blatant, barely anybody would be able to take it seriously.

Cool and all, but my kids eventually have to interact with other kids who may have parents that are not doing their duty. I remember being an 11 year old and having porn shown to me in school by other kids despite my parents keeping our house free of porn. What others do in a society has an effect on you, directly or indirectly.
