Should Porn Be Banned?

Porn should not be banned but it should be regulated so that you can't pay the "actors", nor can you monetize it in any way. Prostitution should be legalized but with price controls with the minimum charge being 1000 dollarydoos that way incels have an incentive to get a fuckin job. Whores should have a lifetime limit on years they're allowed to whore so that we don't have whores doing it as a legit career. Prostitution is in my mind less damaging to the public than porn is since it's not just one click away for "free" and actually involves another person instead of a screen. Yeah being a whore is bad but at least you can kinda keep being a whore on the down low instead of it being viewed by billions of people.

Edit: Also to sidestep the digital ID hellscape why not just have a code you can buy once you turn 18 that gives you access to the "adult" version of the internet? Back in the day you had to actually go out and buy a porn magazine, just make it like that. You're buying your jerk off code. I don't know how feasible that is but it's better than digital ID hell or 11 year olds seeing gangbangs.

Should Porn Be Banned?

How are you going to ban porn? Women love money. There's a porn ban in South Korea and guys just connect to Japan to get their porn. You could ban porn worldwide and in 12 hours there would be a TOR link for all the porn that everyone would tell you about.

Too late for that :(
Still actual regulation on the internet could work.
Discovering how much illegal and unwanted content has been on Pornhub. Which is the biggest platform for porn and has everything available with 2 clicks is actually shocking

I I had an English class today and we had to read a text about British television. When I pronounced the word "BBC" the two blonde chicks sitting behind me started giggling and whispering something. This is how prevalent porn terms are irl.

You don't need to get rid of it all, just make it as inconvenient as possible to access it, and if ISPs notice you accessing it you get a fine, something like that. The combination of inconvenience and fines would disincentivize most people aside from porn addicts.

Realistically; I don't think we can at this point. We have to focus on trying to do something about the consequences of porn and the cataclysmic damage it inflicts on society.

But if we could, absolutely.
My argument that don't plan on staying around this thread to defend? Look at all the sex pests, troons, alphabet soup cults, coomers and gooners who haunt almost every corner of the Internet and how it effects kids. Especially the existence of degenerates who get off to corrupting and grooming kids with the most horrific porn.

Has porn done all of this exclusively? No, of course not. But it plays a pretty huge part.
It's not a matter of "who can handle it and who can't". It's been proven time and time again that no matter who you are, it is negatively affecting your psyche.

Nigguh I iz on welfare watchu expecc me to do wit muh dik fo' fun when ders no blaque kween coochie around?

If we want to unfuck society, that's what we're going to need to do.

Banning pornography isn't enough though. The porn industry, one of the most disgusting and exploitative industries on Earth, needs to be destroyed. We should start off by executing pornographers.

This goes against my principles to agree with a woman but this is a rare instance of a based woman take -

Agreeing that something is bad for society should not imply agreement that making said thing illegal is a good idea.

It is a dangerous precedent to allow the government to imprison people for accessing content it considers bad for you. Think about that, people being thrown in prison for thought crimes.

Consider trying to define exactly what porn is and is not. It's not straightforward at all. No matter how you define it, some amount of 'non-porn' will fall under it, and some amount of 'porn' will not.

There should be no victimless crimes. If you're by yourself or with consenting adults, do what you like. That's what it means to be American. Smoke your cigarettes, drink alcohol, gamble if you're of age..

The government is not and should not be our nanny state for enforcing someone's morality. It never works well and comes at a cost of our freedoms.

The only caveat is children. They cannot consent and must be protected.

Probably, but it’s an unenforceable law that would only increase organized crime and sex trafficking. We probably should do like the Bongs however and require a shameful process of uploading an ID and asking your ISP to unlock it.

Yes, but how to get around the sticky question of free speech? Yes I know fucking isnt speaking, but that wont stop the "free speech" autists absolutists from getting their panties in a wad.

You can ban stuff without imprisoning people.

Consider trying to define exactly what porn is and is not.
Don't need to, "I'll know it when I see it".

There should be no victimless crimes.
There's lots of disgusting, degenerate hentai that shouldn't be allowed to exist, so I disagree.

No, it is unworkable. Its just easier to ban kids off the internet and would do the same end job.
You can do both.

These ban porn crusades are just like Communism, sounds good but good luck making it real.
It's really pretty easy. Shut down porn sites and there goes like 99% of it.

Well as long as the porn being produced doesn't provide any harm to society (public. people involved did not give consent etc), I don't see anything that bad about it.
Addiction isn't bad? Shredding the moral fabric of society isn't bad?
