Disaster Shooting Situation in Toronto - Canada tries to emulate the U.S.

So about 10 people injured or possibly killed in a mass shooting in Toronto. Witnesses saying the bodies are scattered down a couple blocks. The shooter is reported dead.

oronto police were called to an area outside a restaurant on Danforth Avenue near Logan Avenue around 10 p.m. following reports of multiple gunshots.

Witnesses tell CityNews that they heard up to 25 gunshots.

Paramedics tell CityNews the scene encompasses several blocks and a number of victims have sustained significant injuries. Six victims have been transported to trauma centres, 1 to a pediatric trauma centre and two to local hospitals while an unconfirmed number of people are being treated at the scene.

The fate of the gunman is unknown at this time but unconfirmed reports say the shooter is no longer active.

Toronto Danforth shooter's brother was arrested last september with 43 kg of carfentanil, enough to kill 3.5 billion people.

Cafentanil is 100,000x more potent than morphine and is an analog of the chemical used in the Moscow Theatre hostage crisis that left 200 dead. It can be easily aerosolized and less than than 50mcg inhaled or 100mcg cutaneous is fatal, making it more lethal than VX gas.

Carfentanil has an LD50 of ~12 mcg (12 millionths of a gram) so at 43 kg that's enough for 3,583,333,333 lethal doses, not accounting for biology. this barely made articles in Canadian news, meanwhile this lad had enough poison for an apocalypse.
