Disaster Shooting Situation in Toronto - Canada tries to emulate the U.S.

So about 10 people injured or possibly killed in a mass shooting in Toronto. Witnesses saying the bodies are scattered down a couple blocks. The shooter is reported dead.

Witnesses tell CityNews that they heard up to 25 gunshots.

Paramedics tell CityNews the scene encompasses several blocks and a number of victims have sustained significant injuries. Six victims have been transported to trauma centres, 1 to a pediatric trauma centre and two to local hospitals while an unconfirmed number of people are being treated at the scene.

The fate of the gunman is unknown at this time but unconfirmed reports say the shooter is no longer active.

Wasn't there a bombing at another restaurant either earlier this year or late last year. If I recall, it happened at an Indian theme restaurant.
 
From what I hear, no confirmed fatalities aside from the shooter who allegedly shot himself. A child is among the injured, six people, including the kid, have been taken to a trauma ward to be treated.

Hearing 9-10 victims, allegedly the shooter was just walking and started to shoot.

I heard a rumour the bomb squad was checking the body. Not many specifics atm.

First off, where's the incel option? Also, Doug Ford the premiere of the province (Ontario), not the mayor. The shooter looks white, so I'm leaning towards another incel attack.
 
The 9yr old is in critical condition and so far only two dead including the shooter.



I thought these things didn’t happen outside the US??
 
Andrew Mantzios had been drinking coffee with friends by the fountain when he heard shots and turned around to see the gunman coming towards his group.

"He had this horrible expression on his face," Mr Mantzios was quoted as saying by the paper.

The gunman fired at a crowd of people waiting to cross the street, he said.

"And then a lady tried to run and she fell down. He turned around and shot her point blank, two or three times."

Mr Mantzios and his friends dropped to the ground for cover and watched as the attacker criss-crossed the avenue, shooting into businesses.

I don't ever want to be in that situation.

Not be able to defend yourself and not being able to defend others. How helpless.
