There's a difference between taking a risk financially on an invention and engaging in an activity that could lead to someone's demise. The cost benefit analysis here is very clear
What you're arguing is so vague that it can be applied to almost anyone that takes a risk doing something that's outside of the norm.
I'm not going to lie, I was kind of open to the idea of this sort of site, but the admins ITT are very glib about the risks of something like this, and that's highly concerning. This isn't some experiment you run for shits and gigs, this is a very serious responsibility, and from what I've seen you guys aren't up to the task. I sincerely hope no harm came from this site, but frankly I wouldn't be surprised if it did.
I don't know where you get that from, but I think our staff did the best they could under the circumstances. We knew we were taking extraordinary risks, but it's strange how none of this came up when the subreddit existed for many years on Reddit, of all sites.
To be honest with you, I don't think you were on the fence, but you had your mind made up from the start. In that case, anything I say won't convince you either way.
