So... what is "Rosatrice?"

I kinda have a vague idea (as I've noticed a lot of the girls in the family happen to look similar to Beatrice in a way that makes me think there might be a genetic link) but I'm guessing there's more to the theory than "Everyone is actually a descendant of the real Beatrice."

Currently putting my reading of the manga on hiatus but I'm not against resuming at some point.

Anyway, because I am prone to impulsive spending I now have 2k Suno AI credits I need to find a use for so I'm AI-fying the Umineko soundtrack (I tried Higurashi but they trigger the copyright block)

Quality will vary, obviously, but I tried my best to make sure it doesn't just turn into a different song when the reference point end so I went out of my way to make sure there's a callback to the original melody SOMEWHERE.

Is this genuinely a bad theory (and if so, I don't mind if you spoil by explaining why) or is it just a meme because its an eight-hour long video?
 
I'm tempted to make a multi-hour autistic theory video someday, but it'd mostly be poking fun at Ryukishi for being a retard

I read both Higanbana VNs after finishing Higurashi and it felt really "refreshing" in the sense of it having a very different mood and setting. The nice thing was also it being structured as a bunch of short stories that loosely interconnect, which meant they'd get to the interesting stuff much quicker than with Higurashi chapters where the dead air would drive me nuts sometimes. In retrospective I think I enjoyed Higanbana even more than Higurashi, but that's because of my preference for gloomy, melancholic settings. If you're gonna read it, I recommend doing so during nighttime as it really adds to the atmosphere and the sense of despair.

Regarding "CSAM". There are a few depictions of abuse, however they're never depicted visually (unlike that one Higurashi sprite) nor are the depictions romanticized, with the perpetrators always getting punished for their deeds.

His better works always seem to be in the form of short stories. Any longer than that and you get random rambling in the form of higurashi’s school comedy ruining any atmosphere of mystery to hinamizawa or the infamous Umineko episode 1.

It was also refreshing to finally see him do something with the whole “gameboard” witch magic autism in trianthology. Alice is a better character than the other magic users in umineko ever were. Mostly because they actually demonstrate going from gameboard to gameboard. Instead of stroking their egos about how “totally amazing and powerful” they are while being as autistic as possible the entire time screeching about the colors red and blue and sometimes gold.

Is there a proper English translation of Trianthology by now? I remember looking for it a good year or so ago and having no luck.

Nope, it was written by "Spanish Sorel", I met him in the #rw_wtc twitter groupchat, we had plans to rewrite it and make it more "normie-friendly" by removing all the "transphobia".

They debated with tons of trannies, I think he ended up writing this so they wouldn’t waste time looking for the exact quotes and stuff. Not a single tranny managed to find a flaw in the article so far, some would debate for a while but end up seething/blocking after reading the article.

Join/writing dates are just a coincidence.

Also, this was written before the Gerokasu translation which was hiroshima-nagasaki for trannies
Gerokasu is a short r07 vn where he seethes about trannies and feminism.

Its funny how no one caught onto the fact that ryukishi personified the concept of the cutting room floor in the form of "the witch of gutting".
Alice just skips to the interesting parts of the story and discards the rest. So she's a better writer than him.

I can't believe that I side with the trannies on this, but the whole thing is gay as the other side of the conversation. You can't claim "the argument is settled" when the character and symbolism around it constantly evoke the gender dysphoria angle.

And shit like the effects of being yeeted off the cliff HEAVILY favour the male angle since the logistics of having your balls Sheered off by jagged rock is simpler than internal injuries that miraculously only heavily impacts one major organ.

In the end it's all coping how your waifu being a former dude doesn't make you gay. Especially when the sequel goes even more balls deep with the degeneracy.

What’s do you think is more likely to be written by a japanese guy :

- Kinzo (Nazi sympathiser) wants to fuck a tranny, Genji introduces Sayo as female instead of male (0 reason to do that, introducing Sayo as a man would greatly reduce the odds of rape). Also features Nanjo making Sayo a tranny hole for no reason. All of this set in the 80s.

Or

- Sayo suffers from an incestuous upbringing + being yeeted off a cliff, does not go through a proper puberty and is rendered infertile. Cannot give birth to a heir/family member (One of umineko’s strongest themes)

If you reread George’s talk to Sayo in EP1, the Beatrice seething when she kills Shannon at the end of EP2, Nanjo’s/Genji’s truth in EP7, you’ll see that none of these scenes make any sense with Sayo being born male.

You can also read R07’s other works (Especially RGD, Gerokasu) and you’ll realise that he has the ideas and values of your average japanese boomer regarding natality, family, race, love…

Sayo being MtF is reddit bullshit, one of the reddit trannies even admitted to it after having a "Literal panic attack" when he realised R07 literally hates trannies.

It wouldn’t even surprise me if it turned out that autist wrote Gerokasu in order to stop trannies from tainting umineko.
 
It's pretty fucking obvious Yasu's story (or at least the version we ended up with) was inspired by the David Reimer story. Child gets mutilated as an infant, losing its nads, and it's decided to raise it as a girl. And don't give me "uhh but Reimer knew he was a boy from chuldhud so muh waifu can't be male!!', there's oodles of characters in media who were raised as the wrong sex and believed it for much longer.

I'm half convinced that Alice being the "witch of gutting" was just Ryukishi seething about his audience wanting actually good works with a point rather than random endless waffling.
