EDIT: Also hearing word through the grapevine the Japanese fans are furious over this on Japanese Twitter, and 2chan is apparently in meltdown mode over it. I don't know where to look for screencaps.

Holy shit that was hilarious. But it really shouldn't have been. Literally a whole episode of Higurashi Reddit memes about Satoko hating studying. Also, Featherine is a Ryukishi stand-in and this episode is full of loli yuri guro. So yes, @Kari Kamiya , Eua is pummeling her bean.

At least Ryukishi is redpilling people on lesbian DV. Very cool!

I swear if that ending and all that other shit ends up being true then I don't even know anymore, other than Higurashi in it's original context being completely dead.

Zero consequences, no one remembers previous fragment's despite the foreshadowing and the talk of looping memories and how it was getting stronger everytime, they hold hands and forgive each other at the very end (?) because last episode reasons.

It sound's so fucking autistic that I can see it happening.

Reddit is saying it's set 35 years in the future and at least one of these two is Keiichi's kid. Take with a grain of salt. Also they're saying the overall manga will be Higurashi Rei, but 'Rei' using the kanji from 'reiwa'.
 
I still find it silly that Higurashi of all series is the one to be milked this hard. The ending and Saikoroshi-hen, like it or not, was a pretty closed book ending and doesn't lend itself to a sequel or extra material. Also the certainty and miracle stuff is reminding me of Danganronpa's Hope and Despair thing and that isn't a good thing.

Also, I don't know why the fuck I had to wait until EPISODE FUCKING 14 OUT OF EPISODE FUCKING 15 for anything substantial to happen. This should've been like Episode 2 or some shit instead of me having to waste 13 weeks waiting for something to happen.

I'm not sure what you wanted me to clip so I just clipped what I thought were some of the worst bits in the episode, including Rika being thrown across the dump








It's amazing that 80% of Sotsu has been footage reused from Gou and yet the animation for the remaining 20% is subpar even by the standards of shitty seasonal anime. The only time this entire show has looked even good was Rika's dance, which is why Passione reused it half a dozen times, otherwise anything aside from the most basic "mouth flap on static face while the camera pans" shot has looked awful. Either Passione are the most incompetent studio since whoever made Chargeman Ken or this whole anime has been a money laundering scheme to enrich R07 so he never has to finish Ciconia because there is no way that there was much time, money or effort put into this.
