Delusional Kiwifarms lolcow Kevin "Amhole" Gibes is pretending that a mild jab at Rowling by Kevin from Defunctland will hurt JK and make trannies "win".

Remember that Kevin let his rancid manhole grow shut because he was too lazy to dilate and got a new manhole made from the skin of a corpse.
“everyone knows someone who's trans at this point (part of why I know we'll win),” is such a great example of correct data, wrong conclusion.

>everyone knows someone who is trans

Correct.

>why we’ll win

Incorrect. Studies show the more exposure one has to trannies, more one is intolerant to them.

Tom Felton is moving into the cheesy scifi/action space. Looks like mindless fun, but also might mean more visibility.

Unrelated but I think a lot of the hate is manufactured online. The Harry Potter world at Universal is as crowded as ever, and no one I know personally says anything bad about it when the topic comes up, even the ones who lean more left. A friend of mine even has a roommate who is a female Harry Potter sperg. She talks about it constantly, is really into fandom stuff but never once mentioned politics or troon shit, literally feels like a person who time travelled from the 2000s. Nature really is healing.
I was at Epic Universal Orlando this September and the Harry Potter section there was simply put incredible.

It was about the French side of the magical world, little alleyways everywhere, posters and amazingly decorated stores everywhere.

There were even a few character actors including a very charming Wand Merchant lady who I assume was a character from the Fabtastic Beasts Movies I didn't watch.

I actually ended up buying a wand, with this wand you could go to a few places and actually cast spells to activate certain things. You had to do the correct wand motions and if you did it right there would be some aninatronic action in one of the stores or a little goblin pops out of a well and shoots water at you.

The reason I am bringing all this up is that I spent all day at Epic with my friends, we saw pretty much everything including Nintendo Land and you know what the best part was?
I did not see a SINGLE tranny anywhere.

And I was indeed actively looking for one so I can curse it with my wand.
Guess what you can take away from this is that Universal may be a tranny-free zone thanks to featuring Harry Potter so prominently.

Referring to people by their biological sex is nowhere equivalent to supporting Hollywood pedos. Also, I would be more than happy to spend my entire life savings on nothing but Harry Potter merch if it means giving reality checks to a bunch of delusional narcissistic creeps.

most of these TRAs still consume media made by rapists, it's just those rapists support them.

Start of a recent New York Times article:

What a difference a star can make. “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is experiencing a remarkable surge in sales this fall thanks to the clever casting of Tom Felton as an adult version of the character he played in the films: Draco Malfoy.

The play’s producers said Monday that the show grossed $2.973 million last week, which is more than it has grossed during any previous week in its seven-year run. And the production will most likely gross even more this week, because of the Thanksgiving holiday, which is traditionally one of Broadway’s strongest stretches.

Felton joined the cast on Nov. 11, and is scheduled to remain in the show until May 10.

The grosses for “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” have more than doubled since Felton’s arrival — a rare turnabout for a long-running show. The play grossed $1.3 million the week before he joined the cast (when there were eight performances), and the week he began it grossed $2.6 million (with just seven performances). Last week, with eight performances, it was just a hair under $3 million. But even that understates the importance of his arrival, because the show — with a large cast and extensive special effects that make it costly to run — had multiple money-losing weeks earlier this year when it grossed under $1 million. During the week that ended May 11, it grossed just $710,462.

Not to state the obvious but I can’t emphasize how much of this boycott is online only. I live in a blue city and when the Harry Potter doughnuts were released there was a line out the door all weekend at KK.

A lot of these people don’t go outside or have any impact on the world. However I know extremists on both the left and right and it’s exhausting listening to them list all the tv shows, books, artists, that they boycott because they don’t align with their politics. Neither of them realise how similar they are to the people they hate.

That was pretty bloody obvious from the get-go.

Just look at the Hogwarts Legacy boycott. It failed miserably, as the game sold 12 million copies in 2 weeks and led to Warner Bros greenlighting the Harry Potter TV series.

What has happened, is that a bunch of terminally online TRA's and their allies and have gaslighted themselves into believing that J,K Rowling
has destroyed her own reputation and that Harry Potter is a tainted brand.

When in reality, Harry Potter is still a license to print money and their effects to demonize Rowling have backfired spectacularly.

Y'see, I don't really think these people practice "separating art from the artist" that much, instead, they just memory hole the artist's wrongthink or eebil actions so they may continue to consoom in peace. As an example, most FNAF fans I've run into online are militant leftards, the kind that will chant whatever idolatric phrase is goodthink right now, and that descended into absolute doomer mode when Trump got in office for the second time. I'd wager there's a substantial part of them that also suffers from RDS.

Yet, when consooming the franchise, I see none of them mention having to separate art from artist since Scott Cawthon is a devout Christian and donated to Trump's campaign. And yes, he still gets money from his franchise much like JKR. He also, like JKR, refused to apologize for what he did. Yet, unsurprisingly, this doesn't somehow salt the earth of the franchise and make everyone paying for his games le eebul bigoted nazi.

They are the people who yell about ethics and morals and whatnot the hardest, but make no mistake, most of them don't believe in anything other than what makes them feel good, and I suppose nothing brings them more joy than hating on a woman standing up for herself and other women.

Shown time and time again. I remember seeing HP themed candy just sold in regular stores a while ago. That one time I went on a walk with my sister and her child, she told me how much she wants to visit that HP theme park. My more left-leaning friends, who usually suck up to all the pro troon shit didn't even bat an eye when I talked to them about playing Hogwarts Legacy. When I went to the mall recently, I saw one clothing shop selling HP merch, with people checking it out.

Maybe powerlevel but I'm currently also at a really liberal university, the kind where stickers promoting whatever leftist cause are usually peppered where allowed, and people unironically have antifa stickers on their laptops. Yet, even here, when I was sitting in an engineering class, I saw one dude in front of me look up ticket prices for The Cursed Child.

Tl;dr for all that: These permanently online moral busybodies have nothing they actually believe in, and anyone who routinely participates in real life doesn't give a flying fuck about their JKR spergery.

Edited for grammar

I think in the UK there is now a general cloud of uneasiness and bafflement over the whole trans thing. It's hard to tell because we live in extremely volatile times politically and there is so much uncertainty and anxiety about everything but it looks like a lot of former "trans allies" in politics and media - not the fanatical ones, the ones that just went along when it was the thing - have dropped all this quietly.

Currently feminist/GC campaigners are trying to prevent the National Health Service from doing a trial of puberty blockers to remedy the lack of evidence flagged up in the Cass Review, and there is virtually no push-back apart from persons of gender themselves, unless I am missing it. On Facebook, all my friends who used to rumble about this sort of thing have gone quiet. Trans is very much not The Current Thing anymore, and troons have noticed.

As a Britfag, I agree. I’ve met quite a few fairly liberal folk who will admit, among friends, that they don’t agree with a lot of aspects of trans ideology. I think the real smoking gun is that the highly-pozzed BBC has broken away from trans-approved terminology.
I have a theory which is that, contrary to what they might think over in A&H, British culture is fairly mellow when it comes to social issues. The general attitude is “live-and-let-live.” There’s a dislike of people who take themselves too seriously, and this has been a stumbling block for American-driven ideologies that come over here. A look at the Scientology protests back around 2008 is illuminating. The Church tried to push this victim narrative that just didn’t fly in the UK, particularly given how batshit their beliefs are. This is also why evangelical Christianity only really catches on in immigrant communities.

At first, this attitude worked in the troons’ favour. Because if Dave wants to put on a dress and call himself Davina, who are you to spoil his fun? He’s not harming anyone. But at the same time, it was fine to joke about it.

But then the troons demanded to be taken seriously. They declared that basically any negative thing said about them was an attack on their very existence and demanded punishment for anyone who dared not to treat them as sacred. They started imposing their ideology on others - look at the “pregnant people” nonsense, or the knots journalists would tie themselves in while reporting on trans issues. You’d get a dork like “Sophie Molly” ranting insanely and posting pictures of himself in fetish gear and we were being told none of this was funny, even though it objectively is.

And that’s what caused the tide to turn. They weren’t willing to live and let live any more.

The Harry Potter stuff was a big part of that, because it’s like, what, are you saying that some 12-year-old girl with a Hufflepuff scarf is the next Oswald Mosley? Fuck off, you’re taking kids’ books way too seriously.

The Supreme Court ruling on the definitions of male/female/man/woman made a huge difference. So many people have had to examine procedures or policies to make sure they're legal and discovered the nonsense the trannies have been pushing was not true and was never true. The people directly affected feel manipulated, and the observers just wonder why the trannies seem so unable to grasp reality.

I deal with this at work and even the most rabid supporters are having to accept that they've been tricked. The usual excuse is that the people opposing troon demands acted so hatefully that it was difficult to understand their point of view. That's just a cope, though, and it's annoying to see people eagerly latch on to it. Still, if it lets people move on I can accept it (and whine about it here).

I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want to see troons thrown
Out of the departure zone
Make my wish come true~

All I want is Wizard Game Part 2.

:optimistic:

It would bring me so much Christmas joy to see a bunch of Alices having a mantrum at the Latam counter when I fly for the holidays. Please God let this happen because it would be so fucking funny.
If there's a wizard game part 2 I want the kids to have less gay posh annoying voices. Even the low key ridiculous African girls accent took me out of it less than the burning hatred at the posh fuck voices, which I was forced to have despite making my character look exactly like myself.
You'd think there would be way more options for it.
And also why would only posh kids get to be magic? And why were there so many black and aisian people walking around 19th century Scotland? I'm a fucking lefty and it got too much for me.
Made my peace by deciding that if you can transport anywhere than maybe all the magic people just chose to live in protective magic settlements and that it wasn't just retarded spite-wokery.
It's fucking dumb cos it actually makes you slightly resent the people themselves, residually.

I think the main reason for the recent tranny backlash ain't necessarily because they're disgusting, but rather because, no matter how feminists sperg that the opposite is truth, society tends to reject quickly whatever hurts women. We're seeing men who are proud to not only invade women's spaces (and shamelessly degenerate about the intentions), but also happily beat them in sport competitions. Most men, the ones who are normal guys with wives and daughters are very ,very likely thinking that these men are the ones who need some violence.

That and the many pics of young women or simply teenage girls with the scars of their mastectomies.

Gender ideology also hurts boys and we don't talk much about it as we should, but we aren't seeing boys being beaten by girls and pictures of their destroyed genitalia are NSFW so it's harder to make them viral as the others.

Personally, I wish people just understand that gender ideology hurts children, both boys and girls, rather than make this a gender issue of who's hurt the most, but I guess it's baby steps. Unfortunately, I doubt we're gonna see legislation to protect men's spaces though. Because that's a different issue based on laws related to equality and yadayada.
