I'm not even sure this is a jab, it could just be the Disney guy being cheeky and refusing to mention trannies and their obsession with her. However, I am going to err on the side of autism because I hate the Amhole guy and unsubscribe anyway lol.

No one except a small audience of the terminally online even thinks of trans issues when it comes to JK Rowling, the only thing they know about it is that people harassed women streamers for playing the wizard game - a game which sold like 20 million copies. This transphobia smear is a game of telephone that was started because she dared to suggest that men and women are different and that women may not want a biological male to exist in the same space as them. She has never once said anything controversial about trans issues. Lmao this isn't even taking a side. He's just making a neutral joke about the controversy, not saying something like "JK Rowling before she was an EVIL BIGOT" or anything like that. Honestly I could just as easily easily interpret it as being on the other side too, like "remember when everyone liked Harry Potter and there wasn't all this tranny bullshit going on? Those were the days"

Unrelated but I think a lot of the hate is manufactured online. The Harry Potter world at Universal is as crowded as ever, and no one I know personally says anything bad about it when the topic comes up, even the ones who lean more left. A friend of mine even has a roommate who is a female Harry Potter sperg. She talks about it constantly, is really into fandom stuff but never once mentioned politics or troon shit, literally feels like a person who time travelled from the 2000s. Nature really is healing.

It would be better if the tantrum happens when they are already flying and either they have to tie the troon until they land or they have to make an emergency landing because of it. Or both.

Imagine the news and headlines about how dozens of people had to lose their flight and wasted time because some mentally ill moron started to have seizures when xe saw that the plane cup had a Hogwarts design.

Kevin from Defunctland is a fantastic documentarian whose vids are of professional quality and his recent one is no different. However as with many YouTube documentarians of his caliber in this political climate personal opinions creep in.

Along with the text he says, “…beloved children’s author mid-2000s JK Rowling.” So it’s definitely a jab.
