CGE, the publisher under fire from the recent HP Codenames games, has CUCKED to the mob and will be donating 100% of the proceeds of the game to tranny organizations. Shamefur dispray. Absolutely futile lol, they'll always be "that" dirty publisher who dared even get a licensing deal with JK to genocide heckin' valids.

They released a statement on instagram:

Over time, the harmful views of the story's creator has escalated into harmful actions.
Pretty dumb statement. I hope JK deigns to get her lawyers involved on this one, when a company is claiming she is committing "harmful actions" while trying to profit from her IP it seems like time to introduce them to consequences.

She should yank their license. This is pretty obviously a rank violation of the contractual "covenant of good faith and fair dealing" which can by itself constitute a breach of contract.

More than anything else the baseless accusation is just insane. Any company doing business with someone that put out a statement that that person was committing harmful actions and continued to do business with them would rightly be questioned. The idea here is because it's internet nonsense they think they can say it and just keep on going.

As you say, yanking the license would be apt. And the most damaging choice. They have already sunk money into the product and clearly the funds did not go to the PR team or that statement would never have been made.

Are the trannies pleased with this kowtow? Let's check the responses:

When did she become a nazi? I know why they started using that "argument", but I don't remember when or if there was an official announcement i.e. most viral twitter spergpost first calling her one. Did they really just add that word to the list without explanation because they know no one gives a fuck about "transphobes" anymore?

That's what the trannies are hoping for. Her being miserable and destitute isn't enough, her existence needs to be damned.

When did she become a nazi?
You're putting more thought in this than the trannies do. They just rattle off their list of insults: bigot, nazi, fascist, etc. They don't really think about the words or their meaning. If you challenge them on it, they'll either just say she's evil you're also evil not agreeing with them on everything like a good ally, or give you some 2 hour long youtube video full of proofs on why [person they disagree with'] is a nazi fascist.

By making this statement, they're basically committing fraud?

Probably libel more than fraud, but legality is not my strong suit.
Either way saying, "yes, this person is committing actual hate acts" (and you know they want to say crimes) is crossing a line from talking about her speech alone.

Oh, how I long for the days when people finally realize that there's no point in trying to appease trannies.
I feel like we're getting there, but any nerd hobby with a lot of autists (and thus troons) in it is gonna be slower to wake up, since they get the brunt of tranny-rage the hardest.

Everyone's a fucking nazi to these retards. I've been a Democrat since turn of the millennium, these types have always made me cringe since it accomplishes exactly nothing but turning people further off your cause. Probably goes along with their pathetic attempt to smear JKR as a "holocaust denier" because she didn't make the holocaust all about trannies.

Has she spammed them with pre-transition photos of each one of her accusers during his white nationalist phase?
Deliberately financially harming the person you're contracting with
The worst crime of all, honestly. Tortious Interference is the real misgendering.

I think that yanking the license would be a PR mistake. For plenty of people who don’t care about the trans stuff but do like Harry Potter and Codenames, this will be the first time that this whole trannies vs Rowling thing has actually affected them. And they aren’t going to look deeper into this, they’re just going to think, “I can’t believe that we don’t get to play this game just because she doesn’t want money going to a trans charity!”

I think that CGE’s behavior is appalling (and I hope that everyone who pre-ordered to support it charged it back). However sinking a product that people were looking forward to just because they call you “harmful” might feel good, but it won’t actually win any hearts or minds that weren’t already with you.

However, I do think suing for tortious interference would be a good idea, but IANAL.

I'm starting to think I'm the only person ITT who was a massive Potterhead from ages 10-13 (also a bookworm in general from ages 3-present).
Nah same, so was I. I was always scared to post anything online as a kid but I was very much into reading the online fandom too.

Unfortunately IRL I’ve ended up in circles where I’m never sure if I can still outwardly be a HP fan. Actually the only troons I know well irl don’t give a shit, it’s either the performative white she/they self-proclaimed bisexuals who have only ever been with men who are all over the arts and/or extremely online weebs I know from younger, nerdier days I have to worry about. So I hang out here to laugh at them.
