The Goblinstan/Palestine conflict would look like a joke compared to some of the wars that would happen in the wizarding world.
So...the wizard school that all of South America goes to is called "Wizardcastle" (lol) in Portugese...which is the official language of Brazil, and which no other South American country speaks.

What did she mean by this? 🤔

I never read a Harry Potter book in my life. When they were coming out, a girl I knew was a huge Harry/Draco shipper, and the whole adult fandom creeped me out so I avoided it like the plague. The troons have made me want to get into it just as a repellant.
Probably late and 4 pages behind but, if you plan to have kids, or have cousins, read the books to them. My encyclopedic Potter knowledge comes from having read the books about 4 times now to my family and to kids as a volunteer. (I did read the first ones as they came out as a kid myself).

However sinking a product that people were looking forward to just because they call you “harmful” might feel good, but it won’t actually win any hearts or minds that weren’t already with you.
You are correct that it's potentially not a great PR thing. However there is a difference between saying someone is harmful and claiming they are carrying out harmful actions.

The former is general internet whining. The latter is inferring she is doing something that is borderline criminal. It's the sort of language a company uses to announce it's parting ways with someone because they're been caught drunk behind the wheel of a car or slapping around their partner. Allowing them to say that sort of thing consequence-free is also damaging on the PR front because people will use it as "proof" that she's committing wrong doing. Typically a company can't say that sort of thing about someone they are working with due to contractual obligations and trying to skirt the line to appease idiots on the internet is when the lawyers should be sitting people down in a room and screaming at them.

For once I would love for TRAs to properly answer this question. The person that J.K was quoting claims "Womanhood is not a fixed essence" and "The meaning of being a woman has changed" If the concept of a woman changes over time, how can trans women have brains similar to women if said concept of being one keeps changing? Let's say society suddenly decided that being a man and a woman are actually the other way around. (men are feminine and women are masculine) would trans people have a reason to transition then? If these sex stereotypes or roles never existed, how would trans people exist then?

I like how le ebic contrarian snark has become so commonplace and incestuous on the internet that people are unironically reverting back to literal Diogenes "arguments".

Ignoring that having egg-producing equipment also differentiates hens from roosters, Rowling using the term "YOU" when stating her claim should point to the fact that she's not talking about fucking animals.

In what possible context would the preface of "If you have x y z" be used when referring to anything other than people? Are there chickens reading twitter?

It's like if Rowling said "If you weigh 30 stone, you're a very unhealthy person" and some retard replied to her with an image of a small car and said "behold, a very unhealthy person!" Like wow dude you sure showed her.
listen my chicken is an avid x poster and don't you question it
Tbh I hate that shit, like an English teacher who I had who would complain I was reading 'Airport Books', bitch most of the people in that class would only barely read magazines and TV guides, fuck if someone is actively reading recommend shit to them instead of bitching about what they read, same with HP or any other YA novels, that HP has gotten tonnes of people into reading and helped create new authors is a massive benefit even if her books are mid, like nearly all YA books are.

It's also why I find RDS with troons funny, they are exactly the type of midwits who without HP would probably only be barely functionally literate, they prove repeatedly that they can't understand nuance or anything other than the most surface level takes so HP is probably the max height of their reading skills anyways.
I read the HP books once a year or every other year around the holidays still because muh childhood. Slightly off topic, but in American schools we were made to read A Separate Peace in High School and a lot of people interpreted it as gay (probably thanks to the movie), but that book was great. A very Harry and Ron friendship tbh.

Draco/Hermionie is fucking retarded and if you ship it you should kill yourself.

It's telling that even the "based" trannies, the ones who refuse to pull the childish move where they pretend she doesn't exist, or threaten to stab her, *still* call her a "transphobe". Joanne is a dyed-in-the-wool ultra lib, likely agrees with 99.9% of the politics of all these greasy troons, was fully willing to bend the knee and use your pronouns and sign up for your crotch mutilation at taxpayer expense, but drew a gentle dashed line in the sand where biology runs headfirst into the purpose of sex segregation.

As much as the derangement against JK is funny and a great peaking tool, it's also good to point out that any, any resistance to trannies is "transphobia". There was never a compromise they'd have settled for.

And that very lack of willingness to compromise is why they are losing support day-by-day. The more you know them the more people are starting to dislike them or realize what they are actually standing for.

For plenty of people who don’t care about the trans stuff but do like Harry Potter and Codenames, this will be the first time that this whole trannies vs Rowling thing has actually affected them
They should put "this game's profits funds hormone therapy for teens" on every packaging. Troons will rejoice, and normal human beings will be horrified.

Everything about the other schools is just stupid, even if we accept wizards care little for the muggle cultural conflicts (like Ireland/England being in one school implies). Both Linguistically and geographically they make no sense. The distances some people would have to travel are insane. IIRC the indians travel back and forth between school and home on flying carpets every day during their junior years. If you run the numbers they're travelling 14 hours a day. Rowling should've made more schools for smaller regions. Iberia, Balkans (lol), Scandinavia, etc. But for some reason she puts Iberia, the low countries and France together. As well as other massive regions with wildly different cultures and languages. She probably got bored making up names and fun facts about every school.

The Japanese school (mahoutokoro) means place of magic.

To be fair, the no compromise stance got them really far. People are willing to bend a lot to humor people. They just pushed too far one too many times, and now people are sick of it. They're willing to say "no step further, and if that makes me a bad person, then so be it".

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't she say these were the most well-known, not necessarily all of them? (Either way, it's a bit ridiculous to expect her to create enough magical schools for the entire world, especially when it's not even part of the story. I'd have gotten bored quite quickly).

However, it's fun to entertain the idea of those being all there is. I can see South American wizards speaking portuñol like in the borders, and it gives you a good idea of just how small Wizarding populations are. I wonder if there'd be wizards who don't send their kids to school and instead have family/community-based magic traditions.

It's been ages. I think the info came from pottermore and it was meant as a rundown of all the other schools, not just a selection. Their original descriptions seem to imply that they're meant to serve all students in their region. She only later talked about homeschooling and more unknown schools when people pointed out how ridiculous some of the schools were. I tried to find more info on them, but it seems pottermore got nuked and on the new website I couldn't find info on the Indian one.

I remembered an interview somewhere as the starting point, but while trying to find it I found this. It seems like she has developed the magical school system further since she was first asked about it!

It is impossible to overstate how prophetic The Simpsons were:

Frink: Yes, over here, n'hey, n'hey. In Episode BF12, you were battling barbarians while riding a winged Appaloosa, yet in the very next scene, my dear, you're clearly atop a winged Arabian! Please to explain it!
Lucy Lawless: Uh, yeah, well, whenever you notice something like that... a wizard did it.
Frink: I see, alright, yes, but in episode AG04—
Lawless: Wizard!

This creature on reddit is trying to correct a change they made to their body and now regret:

The... hand??? is what caught my attention; it was only after I clicked and read the text that I realized I'd found some RDS in the wild.

ATTN OP: Losing weight would give you a human-shaped body again AND will probably make the tattoo unreadable, so win-win!

It's honestly sad that any large group of people have ever kidded themselves into believing that such a thing ever existed, or that it's not an oxymoron.
All you need to do to dispel the myth is talk to a "based tranny" for long enough. Believing the foundational lie that it's morally acceptable and possible to "live as" the opposite sex degrades a person's soul (or character, or whatever). If you think someone is an exception, they'll eventually prove you wrong. As always, the best peaking material is being exposed to trannies directly.

Disagree. The three most based trannies (in my opinion): Blaire White, Buck Angel, and Rose of Dawn (who all actually see the harm in giving kids hormones and indoctrinating the gender shit onto them) have never called JKR a transphobe from what I’ve seen.

The bar is in hell if not mutilating children or throwing public tantrums over a popular author's political opinions is what's considered "based" these days.
