She wouldn't be as politic about it and she probably has become more "radical" in her beliefs, but I think that the sentiment in that post isn't fundamentally contradicted by anything she's said or done since.

I respect every trans person's right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them.

While she probably would draw the line at men in dresses breastfeeding infants or women with beards shaming gay men for not having sex with them, these reasonable limits were always implied. The limits might have become more extensive, but I don't think they have fundamentally changed.

I'd march with you if you were discriminated against on the basis of being trans.

She probably wouldn't actually march with trannies for her own safety and she probably doesn't feel like giving these guys an inch anymore, but the message she's trying to send here is that she doesn't want trannies to be persecuted for being trans. Being required to use the sex-appropriate bathroom like everyone else in the world is not discrimination "on the basis of being trans". Even the fact that she's making that distinction shows that even 5 years ago she didn't think that not carving exceptions out for trannies was transphobia. I think that if cross-dressers were being jailed or even fined she would oppose that today.

At the same time, my life has been shaped by being female. I do not believe it's hateful to say so.

This is the one part that she would still say word-for-word without hesitation today.

I have never consoomed any Potter media, other than Hogwart's which I haven't played yet although I plan to at some point. My first impression was anything that got kids lined up at a bookstore couldn't be all that bad. Also people I knew whose judgment trusted said it was decent fluff.

Then I saw the adult fandom, including those who grew out of the age they encountered it, were utterly insufferable faggots with shit politics. And most of them were literal retards who never read anything but YA slop.

I didn't really see her as much of a writer, although I have no basis for an opinion. I did have some respect for her as a businesswoman, and I approve of creators being absolutely fanatical about insisting on total control of their creations and not getting bought out and fucked over by. . .umm. . .goblins. You know what I mean.

However, the utterly insane troon reaction to a couple mild criticisms and her development into a warrior against their insanity has been pretty impressive. I may not be attracted to endless series of lengthy novels in a setting that doesn't appeal to me, but she has a rapier-like wit in short form.
