He's a goofy music guy first and foremost. If you don't like his stuff that's fine but in media he's kinda like weird al where he just shows up in shit whenever some studio wants a recognizable funny music guy in their thing.

...Except for peter jackson's king kong for some reason.

Even in King Kong and Goosebumps, when he tries to act different or be more serious, it comes off as being uncanny because you can instinctively tell the man isn't fit for such rolls.

From what I remember he wasn't necessarily BAD in King kong it was just that he's very blatantly visibly recognizable as Jack Black even when acting like a very non-jack-black guy.
 
Funnily enough, I still remember when people were actually making fun for J.K. Rowling for discussing shit nobody wanted to know, like how this character was gay or that character was not "White". And of course, the fact that every Wizard was a fucking Pajeet in their shitting method before someone brought in toilets from the outside world. That wasn't even that long ago, only 5-6 years ago....its very clear how trannies make everything about themselves for much longer in a shorter amount of time.
 
I won't say Tropic Thunder because I'm pretty sure he wasn't acting, but I still enjoy everyone in that movie, even Jack Black.

The Kyle comment was a bad look for both of them. As others have pointed out. It is an endorsement of political violence. Not only against Trump. But the unintended consequence of reprisal attacks. What happened to Dimebag Darrel proved that there is no such thing as security when someone wants you dead on stage. The disavowal was to stop shit like that from happening. They don't have Secret Service protection. What Jack did was to save both their necks. Still could happen as well. Slipping passed a doped up groupie fucking security with a gun to get on stage has happened.

Didn't the last person who said she has "blood on her hands" get made by her very expensive lawyer to publically retract their statement for threat of a courtroom arse fucking, or am I misremembering (again)?

There was a guy who said that she cannot be trusted around children and one "actor" who called her a nazi or at least "aligned with their views". There were a lot of "it's JKR's fault!!!" tweets regarding Ghey's murder, but as far as I can tell she never did anything against them.
