Doesn't that have a scene where Harry and Voldemort watch like Hiroshima or the Hindernburg disaster or something and have a psychotic 'Wow, destruction is so beautiful' bonding session? A scene I'm 50% sure is ripped from 'The Inventors' book series. I feel like that strictly logic-obsessed version of Harry would be even more offensive to the troon crowd.

Probably because he broke up Tenacious D after Kyle made a dumbass irl fedpost about the Trump shooting that he immediately realized was stupid and apologized for. I mean yeah it was some retard shit to say but it was a bitchmade move on Jack's part.

I think it's a bit like Harry Potter in that you pretty much had to be at a certain age/phase in your life for it to really click for you. If you're not, he's just another obnoxious self enchanted stoner-humor guy with a guitar.

You had to have been school age during the period when the books were coming out for Harry Potter to really resonate with you. Nowadays even if a kid tried to get into now it wouldn't have the same impact.

His bandmate put a target on their heads and made every venue require a multimillion dollar insurance policy or outright cancel instead of dealing with it. They can't afford that and it essentially ended the band for the foreseeable future. Now they're also barred from countless countries as well. It's hard to overstate how massive a fuckup it was.

Australia kicked them out. It'll make getting travel visas difficult and interfere with doing movie promotions internationally for a few years. Kyle is definitely blacklisted as thoughtcrimes are real crimes in most of the world. Specific countries? We'll never know now but the EU and SEA has routinely barred musicians for the same kind of shit. Canada wouldn't surprise me, given the current state of it.

They knew how fucked they were and did effective damage control, so you didn't see the usual announcements. Not to mention most of them are done quietly. If you're looking for a gotcha, take it; I can only point to other musicians and comedians who have said and done dumb shit overseas and what happened to them.
 
I don't care about Rowling or Harry Potter. But I care even less about troons so this makes me laugh. I love how they buy her book (supporting her) just to burn it.

I love how these no-lifers who have had to adopt a book to have a personality have had their world shattered because their mental illness controls them.

The fucking out of nowhere jack black hate and people going "HE was NEVER funny" are almost exclusively tied to him being like "whoa haha ok what the fuck" after his friend started displaying actual crippling TDS politics team clout brain poisoning level behavior. It's so fucking transparent, simultaneously hilarious and morbid too.

People know Jack black's known for just accepting roles or cameos in weird or shitty movies but post Kyle endorsing failed assassin era you have him show up in a shitty minecraft movie trailer and instantly theres' over 50 2 to 5 hour long video essays on "the downfall of jack black" or "why jack black was NEVER funny". This will continue until it becomes the main narrative behind him like how Notch had one small argument with a twitter troon years ago and it was used as an excuse to say he was "transphobic" and scrub his name from Minecraft and go full on in making minecraft "more marketable to kids". Somehow minecraft and microsoft played a part in both these cases which is kind of funny. Rowling was one of the first to get this treatment over a twitter disagreement and Microsoft wasnt involved so I can't really say "microsoft is the key to all of this" here.

I don't know, I've never liked him, not even as a voice actor. I'm trying to think of a movie where I thought he was good but I'm failing.
