From a general common law view, that isn't specific to that state so could be wrong, entering a property through an open door is only trespassing. Trespassing isn't a criminal offence until you combine it with something else - like property damage.

That place has been flooded more than once, at least a foot deep judging from these pics. You can see the water lines/mold on the outside.

When I first saw the still images from the aylawg, I thought they were taken in the crack shack Ralph and Mantsu abandoned full of trash in Richmond. I was amazed they didn’t owe the landlord even more money for garbage removal and replacing carpet and flooring.
