There's also one for the Re2 remake voice. I'll wait for the original actress' voice to be replicated, if I ever have the urge to replay the remake (I won't any time soon)


EDIT: Oh, someone's already tried. Not the best, but it's inevitable that it will get better. That actress was so much better.
 
Recent watching habits have convinced me that the individual in this video clip should be hired as the official voice actor for Albert Wesker going forward.

Haven't touched 4make in over a month and decided to play it a little yesterday. The honeymoon period is over for sure like it was predicted earlier in the thread by someone.

The reticle bloom and missing shots, even when your target is dead center of it is infuriating. The game is objectively shittier to play in every aspect due to lack of player control in place of "realism." It's really my core fundamental problem with the game and is the reason I don't see myself returning to it just like I stopped played 2make after a couple months from release.

And my thoughts about the pacing has changed. I think the first half of Castle is great, but as soon as you finish water hall is feels like a slog and the game never hits a high point again. I like the Krauser fights but nothing really jumps out to me beyond that. In the original, it feels unanimous that the game is solid up until island and then it drops off. It feels way earlier in this one.

Oh and DLC is coming.


Gonna wait and see reviews of it before I put any money toward it after the anti White rant by the gook bitch that poorly played Ada. I can't see it being all that great since Capcom phones in hard DLC for RE and they have been for years.

It was an absolutely massive fuckup for Capcom to allow Ada's new VA to go on twitter and call fans who disliked her performance racist hillbilly morons. A lot of people who might have otherwise bought a Separate Ways DLC probably aren't going to now.

The most they can do is openly distance themselves from the comments (say that the comments don't reflect the beliefs of Capcom and its staff and are only the personal feelings of the actress) and/or replace the actress with someone else in future works.

Correct. And be that as it may, I think it bears asking if anyone would actually feel reassured to see Capcom give just such a response at all, and not just chalk it up to them giving the usual sort of canned, corporate response to try and ward off criticism. And even if they replaced the voice actress, I have some certainty that people would still hold it against them for even hiring that dumb bitch in the first place.

Either way, Capcom couldn't score a win with an ultimately niche demographic of detractors, so what does it matter? The people who hate them will still hate them, the people who still buy their products will still keep buying their products, and the people who hate them will also likely keep kvetching about the people still handing Capcom money.

It's simultaneously annoying how people ate it up, hook, line and sinker. Had a conversation with some people and they were like "No it's only Capcom's fault! They gave her the lines and didn't make her redo them! She did nothing wrong! She only did her job and people send her death threats! She's 111000% innocent! She's a contractor, nothing more!"

It has not occured to these people that she actually sounded like ass or she as a voice actor could at least pretend to fucking try. Sure, Capcom fucked up by okay-ing the voice work but that doesn't speak good things of the actress' talents either nor does it exempt her from criticism. To me it sounds like the directors were so sick of her, they just okay'd whatever she did to get on with it.

It's like nuance is dead to these people.
 
Also apparently Re4make Ada has that hideous sweater dress instead of her iconic red dress because it's "not realistic/practical."

Riiiiight, so why did she have her classic dress in Re2make? Raccoon City was a warzone.

It's the worst female outfit in any core RE game by a mile. She's got the Chinese dress in mercs from the one leaked screen of it so it would be nice if you could switch it to that during campaign.

And it's mindboggling stupid Leon didn't get his RPD outfit as an alt but gets the dumb mafia outfit.
