Perfectly servicable
No.
it's a remake of one of the weakest entries in the series.
Multi branching choices throughout the playthrough that can be manipulated to have a different experience every time.

Heavily RNG based to give different item drops in every playthrough.

RNG enemy patterns that change every playthrough.

Gun Powder system that should've been in every single game following but has only reappeared in the newer games.

Invented the quickturn.

Both the most iconic antagonist and main monster designs of the entire series.

The best execution of the tank controls in the series and plays way better than RE2.

Hardly any downtime and there's tons of enemies compared to the first two games.

So, no. You're wrong. The weakest game of the series is it's cringe phoned in remake.
it was short as hell compared to the others and quite weak.
You more than likely played on easy mode, and it's marginally shorter than one of the two scenarios in RE2. It's still longer than the remake.

And no.

You sound very angry about an opinion regarding a video game. I enjoyed finished R3make on Hardcore, and thought it was pretty fun.
That's because I'm not autistic and sulking over a 25yr old game.

Yeah point counterpoint is “angry.”

>"n-n-no-no-no, I'm just pretending to be retarded"

Anyone managed to complete a minimalist run on RE4make yet? (Pistols and knives only). I'm retracing some save files to get the primal knife now so i'll have all 3, then probably going to roll with the Red9 and the Matilda.

I did.

It's piss easy if you already did the S+ since you can just use the Matilda and cheese through it with unlimited ammo. Although even without unlimited, it's still easy on assisted. Just use the handgun ammo charm and the handgun ammo attache case. I would use both the Matilda for crowds and maybe the Red 9 or the Blacktail for single enemies and bosses. Sentinel Nine I used over the other two since it has a high capacity and and the same exclusive the SG09 has.

I did mine on Assisted to just get it fast and easy.

I've half a mind to try and do minimalist and a professional S+ rank in one run, is that too ambitious? No cat ears or gasmask unlocked yet.

is that too ambitious?
Yes. It's hard enough with everything available, let alone kneecapping yourself.

Cat ears is what you'll get for S+. I did mine with no additional perks like Primal knife. It's doable, just find one of the newer speedrun playthroughs with the newer strats. I had a 5:10 but they're beating it now in two hours compared to 4:30s weeks ago. While not necessary, doorskips will save you a lot of headache. Especially chapter 14 in the area leading up to the wrecking ball. Doing that one saved my run since it shaved like 20 minutes off.

Don't fight Verdugo. You can use the rifle scope, clip through the wall glitch to not have to. I had rocket launchered the dynamite wall in the mines but it's no necessary. But what is necessary is buying the RPD for Krauser and Saddler and not deal with that headache.

May just do it on assisted also then. I'm concious of burning out with too many playthroughs, lots of shit to unlock

I had maybe 3 or so playthroughs before I got everything. I did my S+ pro run. Then I did Minimalist on Assisted with my no Merchant run. Then I did Assisted on my no heal run.

So why did everyone hate RE3 Remake? It was on sale so I picked it up and just finished it. Perfectly servicable game considering it's a remake of one of the weakest entries in the series.
Yeah, it’s a perfectly serviceable game if you buy it on sale for $10. Dipshit.

Hmm, let’s go down the list.
-5 hour game
-removed mercenaries
-removed live choice system
-removed an ending
-removed entire locations (clock tower, replaced dead factory with much shorter, more boring recycled lab section from re2r)
-challenges are not extra content. That’s filler.
-literally nothing to do outside of finishing the game once

You forgot the shitifying of the characters and lore.

Oh yes how could I forget. Man there’s so much that makes RE3R garbage that I can’t remember them all.
The uptown section alone is like 20% of the game area that you just skip over in the first ten minutes.

Forced walking section after forced walking section.

Drain Demos are barely even a threat.

Brain Suckers gone.

Jill doesn't go to the RPD.

Completely wrecked Nemesis and made him a bitch compared to the original. They completely destroyed his lore and turned him into a xenomorph and his last form is a joke. He also is completely unemphasized with literally one stalking section in the entire game. The rest are just shitty boss fights. He's supposed to be the precursor to the RE4 parasites and there's nothing "parasite" about him.

Brad doesn't get killed by Nemesis, and talks to Marvin as a zombie lol

NEST 2 is just unadulterated dev laziness.

This retard has already stated he doesn't remember much of the original, but his opinion somehow validates and canonizes the shitty demake as better. "I liked it on nightmare." That's a shitty after difficulty. The first run is the one that matters.

RE3 after the RPD is just a straight line to the train for the most part and that was still built in a interesting way that noobs still get lost within it. Demake is just two streets and the donut shop.
