The one that breaks my brain is the pseudomunchies/nlogs being so happy to announce they have things like IBS. What the hell? Who raised you? Why do you need to put that on your profile description? Why are you talking about it on tiktok? Any illness is already something normal people generally want to keep private, but especially things like IBS. Wanna keep an online inventory of your hemorroids too? This oversharing is insane and tiktok made it worse, but reddit creates communities around it. Hell, it creates communities that are celebrating illness too. It's incomprehensible to the normal human mind.

Did you know reddit has a link shortening feature built into it where you can shorten the link to any post to just a few characters? It used to be just 5 letters, but due to the enormous ammount of trash content in the site it now goes up all the way to seven. This is why if you make a typo when trying to go the the login page directly you might end up on a random r/movies post (logib) or a question a lot of companies honestly should ask themselves before making social media (logim) or a really ominous message for people who live in easter Thailand (ligin).

Here are some pretty funny results:

nigga = r/Physics, 14yo post which has been locked and all comments deleted. It is obvious that the newer comments were probably some flavor or laughing at the URL.

niggas = Someone wanted to share their cosplay on the Resident Evil sub and the RNG made the URL way more interesting, no idea if the cosplay was any good.

faggot = Some racing game. Particularly funny how a mod (who is german) complains the post in unnaceptable and the OP should repost the thread.

trump = A r/conspiracy post about how the FDA allows disgusting shit but not raw milk

kikes = some dude posting his own commentary youtube channel video from 15 years ago

cyrrax = a cute dog picture

tranny = links to porn on r/SpreadEm of a woman showing herself

pajeet = Lands you on a r/motivation with a quote by Gandhi. Amazing rng.

chuds = Someone in 2010 frustrated that Firefly was canceled.

retard = deleted post in AdultNursing of some guy in Buffallo looking for a woman to breastfeed him

nazis = a post which apparently tried to shill some sort of new age guru or cult thing, dead links

kiwis = post on r/farming asking how to proceed with land the redditor inherited

sneed = TIL about a underwater lab from NOAA

nigger, pooner, muslim all lead to a forbidden error, which could be just a coincidence or it could be deleted posts.

Try your own funnies and post results!

I lean on the side of the student on this one. Girl gets denied playing a male role in a school musical, ( I will optimistically assume it's not a pooner) Texas school district says no because drag performances are illegal for under 18s. Seems heavy handed. Writing a letter crying about getting booted might be an overreaction though.

I love how I can't see any of these because I'm not logged in to their trash-ass tranny-fucking website. (🎩 I know)

They're really speedrunning their demise with this forced login shit. How shall governments and shadowy entities propagandize the most gullible of internet denizens when Reddit finally kicks the bucket?

I would be very weary of this sort of thing because liberal types have been known to be intentionally dense and go out of their way to misinterpret laws and regulations to push their agenda. Meaning they could be deliberately poking the law to try and overturn it and get their drag queen story hour back.

I'm just saying that having a teen dress in drag for a school theatre show is obviously not what the law is trying to prevent. Unless the show turns into a weird sex exhibit, but then that would get press attention. Little Shop of Horrors with a female seymore is gonna happen because theatre types love that shit.

I don't even know what to say about this one, man... just that there's different ways to discuss this guy leaving his son that doesn't make you sound like a smug prick. That's literally what the entire thread is talking about, plus there's a bunch of weird undertones about him being a white man with a lot of first-world privilege shaming and such. I 100% guarantee the reaction would be different if the person in question was a woman of color leaving her son.

I'd be hesitant to go to therapy when their most vocal proponents are this obnoxious and reductive.

While I would never profess to be a mind-reader, it's hard not to read these and conclude what's emotionally driving these commenters is simply jealousy. This man has lived a far more interesting life than they have and they know it.

What would he even need to go to therapy for? Is wanderlust a mental illness now? It's so obviously a "I'm upset about this but I know if I articulate exactly why I'll sound like a petulant child" comment.

But what about the fact he walked out on his 8 year old son? Well, the son's now 36. What does he think? I found an interesting article written in 2014 that has a fairly lengthy section about him and his son's relationship as adults.

TL;DR: As far as you can tell from this article, their relationship is best described as "amicable". I would also point out that when the article was written the son was 24, and by that point he already had a wife, a house, and a kid - so the guy was honestly doing pretty well for himself, and at the very least his dad 'walking out on him' doesn't seem to have ruined his life. Seems like he doesn't really need Redditors acting as aggrieved mediators on his behalf, personally.

I don't watch anime for obvious reasons so I have no idea what this show is, but from what I have gathered the MC is a literal pedophile who gets reincarnated as a baby and this is the best show ever somehow? The anime sub shows it's true colors.

Its not that difficult to understand. They want to be victims. That's it. They want to be victims, collect up all the pity points and use it as excuses for being malicious shitheads. This is the entire logic behind being a leftist or a redditor.

Some people let trannies live rent free in their heads. Very unhealthy behavior, many such cases.

if you stare into the stinkditch, the stinkditch stares back.

If you feel that way, then what you want is for school to drop it and let performance happen

It's just bone standard isekai slop. NEET reincarnated as an OP fantaslop MC and proceeds to acquire a harem. It's not even the most egregious example.

Redditors are into all the absolute worst shit tier anime, but tbh anime forums were always full of pedophiles. Anime has an enormous pedo problem and if you watch anime you will find yourself excusing it at least partially. No matter how otherwise good or wholesome the anime they will ALWAYS shoehorn some racy scene with a 14 year old. Always.

Even K-On where it was almost completely wholesome decided they NEEDED to imply the girls were naked in the outro.

And, if it's a single-sex school, they have to do this.

My peeve of the day:

Oh noes, it's ICE!!
Of course the link is to fucking bluesky.
One poster just casually refers to a law-enforcement officer as a "cockroach". Wonder if the poster is a Hutu.

Christ, I'm tired.

I wish I could go back 250 years or so and change the timeline so that slavery was abolished right away, all the slaves were immediately repatriated back to their homelands (as well as any free blacks who were "indolent and vicious", as they would have phrased it at the time), kept the white-only immigration restriction in place till the present day (so the Mexicans who were already there at the end of the Mexican War got grandfathered in but no 20th-century flood of Latin Americans was possible, and refrained from interfering in foreign wars (so Germany would probably have won in 1917).

Then, somehow, bring those Redditors into that timeline and show them that this is what their intolerable puling leftardism has made me do - all while cackling evilly, of course.

Why are you talking about it on tiktok?
I will say, I respect the ability of someone to talk about it in a method that helps others dealing with it, such as in a tiktok video...
But the fact is these people view it as a badge of honor. It's like firefighters who go off about how many dead people they see and how they are haunted daily by "the people they could not save." Stfu and go host another pamcake brempfkist.

To be fair, there's nothing stopping you making an email just to have a reddit account that you barely use.

I think this is just a 90% of the population thing. I see this in the people who wear flannel and think that and god is all that they need to have a complete personality... well that and day drinking. They don't know anything about the issue. They just believe what people who think like them believe, so they argue in bad faith because that's their only option...
I mean, they could just not engage at all, but then no one would hear their very important opinion!

True... but frankly, why is she so bent up about it? Who cares? Play another role. There will be other plays where you can dress up as a dude. Is the law stupidly applied here? Yeah. That's the world we live in. Both leftoid and rightoid state legislation are just overreacting to others. I'm more tired of adversarial politics than I am about stupid kids being denied parts in a play.
and conclude what's emotionally driving these commenters is simply jealousy.
I don't think so. I think they just are conditioned to spout the first thing that comes to their mind. No one ever told them that you should think before you post. Or they did, but it got lost in the modern internet. Meanwhile, they are contrarians. They NEED to be against the zeitgeist. They need to use big words and seem intelligent (I know... from the guy who used zeitgeist, but the difference is I don't just copy my vocabulary from other redditors like some kind of fedora-wearing AI), and their concept of intelligence is they can point out flaws in other people's statements. I don't think they mean to be adversarial. They are just being themselves. They aren't thinking of the other person because it's not them and their needs. It's not malicious, but my god is it sure annoying.
watch anime you will find yourself excusing it at least partially
I can agree in some capacity. There are a LOT of people who are just maladjusted adults that gravitate to anime. Are these people pedophiles? I don't think lolicon leads to pedophilia necessarily. I think people who are lolicons already have deep seated issues. But, to be fully honest, I don't find an issue with loli itself. It's a drawing. It doesn't do anything for me, but I think the focus on the art itself is an issue. The issue isn't the loli art, it's the lolicons themselves.
As for sexualizing anime characters like those in MHA that are 15? Sure, sexualizing anime characters is weird, but if they look like adults, I think it's dumb to argue about pedophilia here because of the number the author put on them for a story's sake. If I showed you a 30 year old woman and told you she was actually 15, are you suddenly a pedophile?
The distinction for pedophilia is either if the idea of them being underage is what excites you or if you are attracted to someone who looks underage, with the later being worse than the former. And I think the vast majority of the anime community aren't like either of these. The vast majority of anime fans are emotionally and socially stunted individuals who think a show is deep because it makes a hero speech every episode.
And I say this as someone who followed MHA since it came out. I don't like to admit it, but I enjoyed it. But I fully enjoy ecchi comedies so I guess my opinion is just trash. I grew up on them through highschool and part of the appeal is the insane events that you could never get in live action, like a man building a robot out of panties and then going around sexually harassing women in the town. Just pure insanity, and I love it. But there are plenty of people that would say because the aforementioned show involves a man who is canonically in highschool, it's pedophilia. But in the case of a drawing, age really is just a number. The content is really what needs to be watched out for. Shows like Made in Abyss are a masterpiece (and I do love it for that), but with how many pointless sexual scenes there are in it, it's only a matter of time before the creator get arrested. That man is definitely into children. But i don't think the show shouldn't exist just because those scenes exist. We'd be out of frankly one of the best anime I've ever seen with some amazing worldbuilding and miyazaki levels of art.
Even K-On where it was almost completely wholesome decided they NEEDED to imply the girls were naked in the outro.
Oh boy... This show is adorable from what I've seen, but god I don't want to watch it JUST because of the fans. People who watch this show always seem to be absolute man children...
I thin this show is also a magnet for pedophiles. Maybe I'm just grasping at straws, but the whole school life focus would attract people who are into teen girls. So ironically, one of the most wholesome anime is a magnet for these kinds of people. Though I think a component driving pedophilia (or perhaps more accurately Hebephilia or Ephebophilia) is failing to make social connections with women at a young age, so they grow older but they want to date people like it's highschool.

I suppose I could've ended up as one of these weird fucks... hell maybe I am. The difference is instead of burying myself in fantasy worlds I looked to do more with life. I think that's the difference between a properly adjusted anime fan and a degenerate. Are you contributing to society? Do you have a job? Do you have other hobbies, especially those which take you outdoors? But keep in mind, I do say this as someone who enjoys watching anime here and there. So maybe I'm just entirely wrong.

I stopped reading here. With all due respect and I mean this in the least aggressive and offensive way, kill yourself.
Idk what to tell you.
Sorry nuanced thinking is so hard for you. It's a simple concept of people who are lolicons were already pedophiles, and loli anime didn't make them pedophiles.
Must be crazy to see liquid batter go into the oven and a whole solid-ass cake come out.

Edit: I want to add my own respect here, because as sarcastic as I was here, I get it. Anime is weird. And I get it's not for everyone, and the vast majority of people I encounter who like anime are maladaptive retards. But part of what I've always loved about it is how much some shows push the envelope for a joke and the ways you can do this in anime that you just couldn't do IRL. So respectively, you are smooth brained.
I don't think I'll make you agree with me, but it doesn't mean we can't show each other a base level of respect. We aren't fuckin' redditors.
