The thing I don't get about the COVID psychos: I bet none of them were masking before 2020 despite the fact that flu was killing thousands of people per year. The above lunatic is on SUCH a moral high horse about how it's "just the right thing to do" to always do everything possible to prevent the spread of this particular disease, COVID, that there's no excuse for not continuing to take the highest precautions, presumably forever. I bet this motherfucker picked his nose while mouth-breathing on airplanes constantly pre-pandemic. It wasn't until the media-gubmint complex infected his tiny brain with fear propaganda that he started acting this way.
Things like mandatory masking, lockdowns etc. were always an emergency measure in the early pandemic when we didn't have a vaccine or a clear idea of how bad things would get. Once shit calmed down they became a guideline, and of course the CDC etc will always recommend you be safer, but normal adults understand that they're free to weigh their own risk vs. cost of things like masking constantly, avoiding social events and travel etc. I don't mask because it fogs my glasses and hides my sexy face, and those trivial reasons are in my mind enough to outweigh the minimal risk I'm taking of contracting flu or covid. Well the thing is, many of them think that COVID is this new super scary SUPER disease.

I’ve seen posts on there speculate about “how there’ll be a need for people who never had COVID in a few years”.
Basically many of them are expecting to be some kind of virus free übermensch in a world where most of the population has become disabled to some extent because of COVID.
