I'm sorry, Silverstone is not the highlight of Batman & Robin, Arnold is.
He's amazing in the movie, a classic performance that's still remembered and talked about decades later.

Are these dudes taking money under the table? I just watched 25 minutes of them puffing up a movie where literally nothing happens.

Here's the entire plot:

Nicolas Cage lives in the woods, hunts truffles with special pig, sells them to Arab Kid. Pig gets stolen by junkies. Nicolas Cage has a few pointless conversations that go nowhere. Arab Kid's father reveals he sent the junkies to steal the pig but they fucked up and they killed the pig at the very beginning. Film Ends.

The film doesn't build up to anything. Even at the big reveal at the end there is no closure, because there is no resolution, violent or not.

I understand some movies are slow, but there is not even a pretense of following the standard plot structure.

I know I've posted a MotU commentary here before but this is a different upload by a different youtuber. (Only existed yesterday.)

News update

Hey everyone! We shot a new Best of the Worst this week. It features the returning work from some filmmakers we've enjoyed past movies by. We also had a traumatic and harrowing bee attack while filming. It may have been the most frightening moment in all our lives.

As usual, the actor playing the villain is only one having a good time here. (Real Palpatine energy.) He did a lot of interviews before the film's release and always shrugged off the makeup and wardrobe process. "You don't do these movies for comfort", he said. Good attitude.

That's why I'll always respect Arnold as a performer. Dude always looks like he's having fun no matter what he's doing. He's like a big kid.

People can say he's the worst thing about B&R, but usually, when the actor is having fun, that radiates off the screen and rubs off on me.

B&R is a terrible cornball movie, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy Arnold's bonkers and pun spewing performance.

when they use this format it's often favorable to the film in question.
