The authoritarian asshat posted those tweets publicly.
An act which did precisely nothing to affect the individual's firing, because Jim has no power to affect that.
If someone gets gravely offended that a conservative is publicly gloating on social media when a socjus retard gets fired, they're just as emotionally frail. A good number of content creators were gloating when the Missouri I NEED SOME HELP OVER HERE bimbo got shitcanned, something I don't personally think was merited. But I don't fucking care, because I don't turn to them for approval of my position in the
kulturkrieg.
I'm not the asshole-- he is.
I was calling you fragile, not an asshole. If your asshole is fragile, seek medical attention.
He's the one who made it political first, my dude.
Not in any of the actual content or work he's put out on the channel. Again, you'd have never known if not for the fact that people went out of their way to find it, went out of their way to call attention to it. He would have just been boring and uninteresting otherwise.
Why not send him a few tweets to tell him to stop making everything political?
Just as soon as he does, I'll make a twitter and do it. Twitter's fucking cancer and he's done nothing in any of the content worth looking at to give a damn about. Dunno if you've noticed, but the world would be a better place if no one gave a shit about social media. I do my part by actually not giving a shit.
Stop getting so assmad over people criticizing a jackass who appears on RLM every so often.
I had a session last night of going back and forth with a guy insisting HE wasn't mad, I was mad last night. This approach doesn't really work.
If you can't separate art from artist, I think that's weak. Jim is boring and the Re:View of strange brew would have probably been more fun with Colin.
You are clearly white knighting them because you're a big fan, which I can understand to a certain degree.
If you think the content sucks or has dried out, I've consistently taken no issue with that. It never gets old for me, but it hits a perfect combination of wry humor with people just enthusiastically talking about things they enjoy.
It's the "I don't like them/him because of their/his politics" thing that I think is cancer in every single form, in every single medium, in every single instance.
It'd be different if this was a case like where Tim Heidecker pulled strings to kick Sam Hyde off of AS - that was gay shit. I haven't looked at Heidecker's shit as much since, though I still think he's sometimes funny. Similarly, if Mel was actually a genuine member of the American Nazi Party or if Kramer was a wizard in the KKK -- but none of those are the case.
